"The angel kept his distance from the human. He wanted nothing in the world to accidentally possess something so weak.
As he watched them execute their plan to escape, except for the squirrel that seemed not to understand what was happening between the puppy and the human, he remained vigilant of his surroundings.
He had managed to realize something. And that was that he couldn't hold onto objects since he didn't have an inventory.
He had discovered this after trying to steal several treasures he had found at the bottom of the water; he took advantage of the moments when Beth was nearby to dive, as this would scare the fish away.
For the time being, he could only move back and forth, waiting to see Tenma's plan.
In the cave, the puppy had been barking at George, the human who was now with them, urging him to hand over the amulet.
"I need you to give me that amulet right now. What we might find inside this mysterious box could help us," the puppy explained, but the human was only trying to figure out how to open the box like the others, to no avail.
Dave would approach them, taking the bottle among the objects and hitting it against the box, standing on top of it to threaten the eye in the box, but, although it seemed scared, it seemed it couldn't open on its own will.
"God... What are we supposed to do?" the puppy was starting to get frustrated, so he tried to jump at George's neck to take the amulet from him, but he held onto it before that could happen. "Put me down!"
The boy simply ignored the puppy's growls and sat down to look at the box, examining the lock and then the amulet he had as a necklace.
"Yes! That's it! Now, put it in the lock," exclaimed Tenma, letting go of the human and sitting on the floor.
The human held the box, inspected it, and stood it up. Staring intently at the eye.
"Could you open the box, please?"
But the eye refused, closing its eyelids.
"Well, I tried."
"What?!"
Tenma would bark at him again, but George would hold onto the amulet again.
"Box with an eye, do you think I look good with this on?"
The box denied it, closing its eyelids.
"Please! Just put the amulet inside the box!"
Dave would notice how the puppy seemed to have an idea of what could solve the problem, and seeing that it was trying to take the amulet back from him, he addressed the human; he would quickly climb up his body and snatch the collar from him.
Once the squirrel fell onto the box, about to place the amulet in the lock, the cave began to shake.
Beth had returned, emerging from the lake like a whirlwind, splashing water everywhere.
George would retreat to the cave walls in order not to get wet, while the puppy and the squirrel looked at each other, still opening the box.
"Surprise! Who asked for clothes? I have sailor, police, farmer, and... I think this last one was from some kid, but whatever," Beth would have emerged from the water with various wet clothing on her tongue, dropping them in the cave, noticing that the squirrel had opened the golden box. "Hey!"
Tenma would peer over to see what was inside the box, seeing a very large book.
Suddenly, a pop-up window would emerge from it.
[Key found: Object unlock]
[Book of magic spells]
"Magic?!"
A long claw would extend between the animals, causing the squirrel to have to take the book before Beth could take it away.
"Leave that alone! It could be really dangerous, who knows what that might have inside. Books are precious objects for humans, so we shouldn't damage it either, at least not for this human here, right?"
To everyone's surprise, George would suddenly grab the book from Dave, holding it in his hands and quickly searching for something among the pages. He would place his finger on one of them and point his hand towards the sea monster.
"Freeze!"
Different bright lights would start coming out of the human's hand, facing, somewhat fearfully, the great beast in front of him. It would extend its paw towards the human, but suddenly it began to feel its claws freezing.
And before they could reach the boy, its paw had been instantly frozen by layers and layers of ice.
The human would look amazed at his feat, stepping away from the danger while the beast tried to move around with its immobilized paw.
"Great! Human, freeze it completely!"
George would step back, feeling his hand starting to tingle. And upon seeing it, he would see his hand equally frozen.
Everyone was in shock at what they were seeing, looking at both of them with their frozen hands panting in pain.
Tenma would be completely nervous, as the cave began to shake from Beth's rough movements in the lake. He looked around for an exit, but saw how the squirrel had the golden box from before and the book stored inside it. It would give a strong blow to the path they had taken before, where the rats had been, chirping at the puppy to follow suit.
Tenma would run towards it as fast as he could, opening his inventory and putting everything he could in it. But an instinct would catch his attention, and he would see the fish that had not yet been eaten on the other side of the cave.
He would run to them and start filling his inventory with them until it was full, and just as he turned around to go back to the squirrel, a rock would fall on his tail, making him let out a loud cry of pain.
The puppy would turn to see if the squirrel had already gone, but, to his surprise, it was beside him, kicking the rock to free him.
"Mik! Mik!" the squirrel would hold onto the puppy's tail, dragging him to the path, barely entering before the cave rocks covered the only entrance.
Both remained in it, barely able to fit along with the box.
But now everything had fallen silent.
