"Jace!" Penny screamed when the beast managed to get to him and threw him to the ground. Out of instinct, Penny wanted to approach him, though it was also a dangerous thing for her to do, since she couldn't help the beta in any form.
However, she was desperate. There was no way that he would be able to sit her and do nothing when Jace was in danger.
But, as if the beta knew her intention, he took the monster away from her, the brick color beast actually lured the monster into the mountain. He took the fight further away from Penny.
"Damn it!" Penny cursed under her breath. Why would they be attacked by a monster at time like this? She had come to this part of the mountain countless times, but she had never encountered one.
Her luck must be running so low at this moment.
