"Cane, wake up," Iris said, she caressed his cheek, she had been trying to wake him up for more than fifteen minutes now. "You need to take your medicine, okay?"
It was almost unbearable to see Cane right now. In the past, he was overly alerted with his surroundings, he had never lowered his guard down, even when he was asleep.
A simple noise would be able to wake him up, but it was different right now.
Iris had been trying to wake him up, but he was still fast asleep. If it was not because Cane needed to take his medicine, she wouldn't have a heart to wake him up as well.
Even though the medicine didn't really have any effect, but it would be able to give his body a little bit of strength.
