"Are you trying to say there are more traitors within your ranks? Just how many of your magic users have turned into dark sorcerers?" Cane asked him bluntly, his words were sharp enough to make the head sorcerer gasp in shock.
"There is no way I condone a betrayal within our ranks!" The head sorcerer cried, he was extremely agitated and then turned to the King. "My King, this is not true, my people and I are loyal to the throne!"
However, instead of listening to his grievances, the King barked angrily. "Still not moving?!"
Startled, the head sorcerer immediately recoiled and shut his mouth, as he lowered his head. He couldn't afford to aggravate the King further.
