But, she was always very clear with her emotions and everything about her. She hid nothing from him.
Therefore, his actions and his capricious ways of treating her left her in apprehension. She kept questioning what he meant by his every action. She needed an explanation, so she would know where she was standing.
Did he want her? Or was it just an impulse from the mate bond, especially when she learned about the reason why the lycan chose him? She couldn't even ask about it, because Cane barely gave an explanation to her for anything.
