"I am tired of talking…" Iris murmured. After she told the lycan three of her favorite stories, she curled her body on top of the beast and stared at the sky that started to gradually turn bright.
It was just a few minutes before the sunrise and she was glad there had been no mishap tonight. It went uneventfully.
Not long after, Iris could feel the lycan's body shivering, thus she sat straight and watched as the beast shifted back into his human form.
The sound of bones-cracking could be heard quite clearly in this crisp morning, as his bones got rearranged. A low growl followed by a whimper reverberated around her as that happened, but as the pain subsided and Cane returned to his usual self, Iris' world fell so quiet once again.
"Are you okay?" Iris was concerned because Cane looked unusually pale. He was even panting slightly.
