Iris was eating her breakfast with Cane when she heard Abby's voice from outside. They had been informed that the Serafim would visit to check on Iris's condition, because Cane kept saying his mate was too sick to do anything, which was a bullshit and everyone involved knew that.
Thus, from what what Cane hinted the other day, the elders decided to send Abby over. It was a tough decision, since they didn't want her to be in public while she was pregnant.
