Ethan felt a lot better after he talked with Iris. He didn't have any idea why, but her presence was very calming and even when she didn't say anything, the fact that she listened to him without judging him was enough for him.
Was it because she was going to be a mother, thus her presence became very comforting?
"Fine, I will talk with her. I don't think I will be able to avoid her for long." Ethan stood up from the chair and then glanced at her stomach. "Can I?" he raised his hand with a grin.
"The baby is sleeping." Iris knew what Ethan meant, he wanted to feel the baby's movement. The last time, he was ecstatic when he was allowed to feel the baby.
"What a pity…" Ethan sighed, but his eyes lit up again. "We are going to meet with the baby around two months from now, right? Do you have any idea is the baby boy or girl?"
Iris chuckled. "I don't know."
