They could hear and see it.
The two groups led by Ethan and Aliana could see the dark wisp, soaring high in the air from a certain spot in the deepest part of the mountain, following which they could hear Cane's scream. They hastened their pace, panic shooting through their blood. It was not good news if their alpha was screaming like that.
However, before they could reach Cane, they encountered a problem.
Around fifteen beasts and five warriors from the Blue Moon pack stopped them, barricading their path.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Ethan growled at one of the Blue Moon pack warriors. If he was not mistaken, his name should be Danny. "Move away!"
Danny glared at Ethan. "How can you be here!?"
The other Blue Moon pack warriors and the royal warriors had surrounded the Howling Wolf pack, so no one should be able to go out.
