Thankfully, before the door sustained any permanent damage, Redmond had opened the door. He glared at Ethan, but was immediately taken aback when he saw how furious the Gamma looked, as if he had just killed his destined mate.
"What?!" Redmond frowned so hard, but he didn't provoke Ethan as usual.
"Do you have any clue what your second in command is doing right now?!" Ethan gritted his teeth, his eyes staring intensely at Redmond. They had worked together for the past few months, thus Ethan refused to believe that he couldn't tell when this warrior before him tried to tell a lie.
"What? Drinking? What is Lyle doing now?" Redmond was confused, Ethan had never been interested in Lyle before.
Ethan could see how genuinely clueless Redmond was about what was going on. He must have holed himself up inside the bedroom, until he had not yet heard what his second in command was trying to achieve at this moment.
