Iris didn't know whether she should laugh or cry at this point. She was completely speechless, but for an entirely different reason.
It was clear to see that the lycan and Cane had two totally different personalities. They were actually polar opposites.
"Why are you crying at something he said, that's the bare minimum a pack member has to show you," the lycan said nonchalantly. "They should have kissed the ground you walked on for everything you have done for them."
Not knowing how to react to this, Iris shook her head and took his hand. "Let's eat our breakfast," she said in a defeated tone and the lycan followed her happily.
The four trays, piled with dishes with most of them made of meat, greeted them and Iris could clearly see how elated Cane was to see so many dishes in his eyes.
