He had been trying to earn his mother's recognition for a long time. He wanted to hear her praise him and look at him a little bit warmly, but all he got was a disdainful look in her eyes. "What in the world made you think you got close to him?" Dexter narrowed his eyes. He could understand the frustration of his sister to have this kind of child.
