Iris could feel her face turn red when Cane mentioned last night. She didn't remember it… at first. But then, snippets of what had happened came to her mind one after one, reminding her of her actions.
She had kissed him!
Iris even remembered what she said to him when she kissed him in front of so many people, yet she was too embarrassed to admit it.
"Are you sure, you don't remember?" Cane looked amused at her blatant lie.
"Yes, I am sure…" Iris bit her lip, feeling guilty because she lied. She thought Cane would press her further, but he dropped it easily.
"Okay." He nodded and then handed over the cup of tea in his hand, as he took the glass from her. "Drink this. I will ask for our breakfast."
