Once Cane arrived inside the room, he saw how Hanna was squatting down beside the bed, trying to talk to Iris, who was hiding under the bed.
"Get out."
Hanna was startled, she immediately straightened herself, ready to plead with the Alpha. In her mind, she was sure Cane would punish her missy for whatever thing that transpired between the two of them.
She still couldn't figure out how the situation had escalated so fast and took such a horrible turn. Less than two days earlier, the Alpha had still been so attentive toward his mate. He even stayed up all night to make sure Iris was alright because her allergy flared up, but why did he look like he was going to kill someone?
"Please, Alpha… don't hurt her…" Hanna begged Cane, she clasped her hands in front of her chest, begging him sincerely, while Ethan, who was standing beside Cane looked confused with the whole situation.
