Chapter 3 - Zombies?

Trrriiing!

"Urgh!" Stacy groaned in annoyance, slapping the persky alarm clock. But, the sound of plastic breaking, metal bending, springs flying and wood splintering made her open her eyes with a frown. Her eyes landed immediately to the broken drawer next to her bed with her arm being the culprit.

"The heck?" she exclaimed in surprise before she remembered what exactly had happened not long ago. Excitedly, she got off the bed, nearly breaking it if she didn't have phenomenal control over her body.

"So it was real?" she asked herself in joy before looking at the bed.

In her previous life, she was well build for a woman doing martial arts. She did not have delusions that she was stronger than men in her field so she had practiced harder on her evasions and fast strikes. This was what had helped her in dealing with stronger male criminals out there, going for grappling when they are weakened by her blows. Of course, she would met well endowed martial artists along the way and this was where her talent truly set her apart from them. But now...

"Holy shit, that's light!" she cried out in joy when she lifted the entire queen sized bed with such ease it amazed her. "I need to prove more."

This apartment was the replica to her previous one, something she didn't even think about. She just headed to the kitchen and proceeded to lift the fridge by the base with one arm! What made her even more happy was that she didn't even feel labored.

"This is awesome," she laughed, putting the fridge down.

She then tested her flexibility by doing some acrobatics in the open space of the living room. She found she was bewitchingly limber, her body as flexible as a cat's. After that, she did some shadow boxing, amazing herself with how fast her fists were. Even after all that, all she had to show that she had done such exercises was a deep sigh.

"I feel like I can do this all day and yet still have enough energy to continue for a week!" she observed. She sat on her couch as she went in deep thought.

Slade Wilson had been infused with a super soldier serum that made him a very, very dangerous assassin. It improved every aspect of him from his senses, physical abilities to his brain. He was a combatant Batman had a hard time fighting against, with his insanely high processing power making him capable of fighting Wonder Woman for a while. Stacy was very much pleases to realize she had all of his power and abilities and how to use them effectively.

Sandra Wu San was one of the best female combatants in DC. She trained her daughter, Orphan, who turned out to be a badass fighter. Her instincts are sharp, with her brain always analysing her opponents and making counters before they attacked. That kind of analytical mind, combined with her mastery of martial arts and her cold heartedness made it possible that even Ras Al Ghul wanted her to join his League of Shadows with a high position offered.

The wolverine of earth 1610 was probably the most overpowered base wolverine in comic history. All his powers were heightened to a high degree, making him able to smell the bleeding Hulk miles away! In fact, if not for comic bullshit, she was sure he would have survived Magneto's attack. But, now that she has his regenerative powers and senses, she was sure she would be able to do her work to the best.

The final thing is Mirakulu. This drug was just as it sounds, a miracle. She was very much impressed by its capabilities in the arrowverse with the best feats of its power being that Slade Wilson swam across an entire ocean! Now that is stamina that can make even Captain America jealous of the drug. However, the side effects include brain injury, skull deformation and others which was not quite good for the trade off. But with no side effects for her, the dug had given her its best and she was glad.

"I wonder which universe I am," she said as she took the tv remote and tried to switch it on. It failed twice, making her check the electricity, there was a power outage.

Sighing, she checked around the apartment for any weapons but the best she had was a kitchen knife. She nodded to herself, putting it down and changed into other clothes. She chosed clothes that weren't restricting, jeans knee length shorts, baseball sneakers, a t-shirt and a baseball hat, always have a baseball hat when going out for vigilante work if you don't have a mask, that was the first rule. The second rule was to never carry your wallet or ID when going out. She hid the knife in her handbag and walked out of the apartment.

'Looks like the same building as my previous life,' she observed before heading to the stairs, went down to the ground flour. 'Same doorman.'

"Hiya, Earl," she greeted the bored doorman.

"Hi, Stacy. Going out?" he politely asked.

"Decided I need to stop staring at the screen for too long and enjoy a drive round the city," she answered him with a smile.

"Do be careful, I've heard there's a sickness going around," Earl warned her.

"Sickness? What kind?" she asked, curious.

"Don't know myself. I've heard so many rumors that I have started to doubt them. But, most say that the people infected turn into cannibals," Earl answered, cautiously. Stacy's eyes widened in shock.

'Disease turning people into cannibals! Fuck, a zombie apocalypse world! The fucking ROB sent me to a zombie apocalypse world!' she mentally raged.

"Sounds serious, you sure you should be out here?" she asked him in concern. Earl laughed good humoredly.

"I did two tours before my shoulder got blasted. I never leave without a piece," Earl said, showing her a glock tucked into his trouser uniform. "With this and God by my side, I can take on the whole world.'

'God has left the chat, old man. GG,' she mentally prayed for the man before going to her car, a black pick up van which she had fitted with bulletproof glass, tougher tyres, a monster of an engine and tougher body. This was her partner in crime in most nights, looking under the rear passenger seats, she saw her weapons still intact. She quickly armed herself with a glock and a knife, strapping the latter to her ankle.

"I need food, lots of water and ammo if I want to survive the first months," she said to herself, turning on the engine.
