Right as the girl leapt towards the blonde-haired woman in the distance, a loud screeching noise echoed out into the area, leaving everyone momentarily stunned for a few seconds. However, though the hunters were caught off guard, a man stepped forward, intercepting Kaitlyn's attack.
"A-Ack...!" At that second, the girl cried out, her body abruptly flung back towards the cavern's wall.
"Hmph... So it seems that you've awakened?" The burly man before her cracked his knuckles, his footsteps slowly approaching Kaitlyn. "How interesting. This is quite the turn of events."
Almost as soon as the man kicked the black-haired girl away, the loud ringing blare in the area stopped.
"Haha... So that annoying sound came from you, huh?" The cheeky-looking man chuckled. "How surprising! Never thought you'd awaken under these circumstances!"
"..." Without a single word from Kaitlyn, she dashed forward, her arm reaching out towards Christine.
