Chapter 4: Blood Battle of the Chaos Gods(Updated)

"Am I intruding something?" An old man stood in front of me with grace and a tint of elegance, looking at the crying baby in my hand with interest. He then crouched in front of me and smiled.

"I see. Not even his children can escape the fate of twins.", He then looked at the baby with a wild smile and looked into my eyes. He then looked at the chaos monsters, the monsters of abyss. I then woke up from my stupor and suprise that a blind, old man was right in front of me. Who was he? How did he get here? Where did he come from? Moreover...

"Old man run away before you get killed by the monsters" I said helplessly. He then looked at me his white hair floating and flailing around gracefully.

"We failed our citizens we deserve this" I said as I sat on the ground, leaning on a bolder whilst holding my crying nephews (Author: - Or, I guess I should say nephew now huh?) in my hands. As I sat down closing my eyes, I then hear a familiar voice. I then looked up to see my brothers hand twitching. Black blood spilling from his mouth. He then stretched his hand slowly, mouthing off inaudible words.

I looked in horror as I saw my brother had been fully corrupted by the whims of the chaos blood. One should know even though chaos was known for it's or should I say their strength. The reason they are feared above all is the Death Evil yin energy that they use. If a God were to come into contact with a drop. They would be devoured by chaos even until their least piece of evidence of their existence was destroyed including memories. They were the perfect chain for all beings. The Death Evil yin energy is an energy that is also known as the tree of evil. Born from the split sin of the progenitors of humanity. Adam and Eve. The tree of good and evil split into the tree of good and the tree of evil. My brother looked at me his eyes looking dark almost completely turned black. His yellow eyes permeating through the darkness.

"G...GI"

******Moments before the appearance of the old man******

The ground quaked as if the earth itself was about to tear open, and the sky above split in half, sending shivers down my spine. The monsters of the abyss—grotesque, nightmarish beings—descended upon the city in a torrent of rage and bloodlust. They were chaos incarnate, their bodies shifting and warping like living shadows, each one an embodiment of pure terror.

"Run! Run!" A woman screamed as she tried to shield her child, her voice a desperate, fragile thing. A nearby soldier dashed toward them, but before he could reach them, one of the abyssal beasts lunged with terrifying speed, its gaping maw opening wide, aimed straight for the woman's throat.

SLASH!

The soldier was cut down instantly, his body disintegrating under the weight of the beast's claws. The woman's scream was swallowed by the sound of a massive crash, the monster's fangs sinking deep into her chest. The child cried in terror, but there was no one left to save them.

I gripped my nephew tighter, my chest burning as the scene unfolded before me. The horrors...

Behind me, Bruno, my brother, stood unwavering, his gaze fixed on the carnage, his jaw clenched as he raised Gungnir, the legendary spear that could rend space itself. His golden eyes glowed with the intensity of a thousand storms.

"By the gods, let them feel the wrath of Order!" Bruno shouted, his voice like the roar of thunder.

The spear crackled with power, and in an instant, the ground beneath the monsters trembled. BOOM!

The massive creatures screeched as they were struck by an unseen force, their bodies torn asunder by the raw energy that poured out from the spear. The air itself seemed to vibrate with the power of his strike, the monsters disintegrating in clouds of black smoke as they were blasted into oblivion.

But it wasn't enough. From the abyss, more monsters emerged, faster, stronger, and more grotesque than the last. The sky itself seemed to tear open, and a massive, bloated creature with multiple faces descended, its gargantuan limbs crashing down toward the city like thunder.

"FALL BACK!"

The order came from Diana, my brother's wife, the Priestess of Divinity. She wasn't a warrior, but her magic was a force to be reckoned with. With a simple gesture, the ground beneath her feet cracked open, vines and roots erupting from the earth as her divine power manifested. Her Tree of Willowed Blades, an ancient spell, sprang to life, twisting and lashing out, the branches sharp as steel.

SWISH!

The tree's massive branches sliced through the abyssal creatures like paper, their bodies severed with brutal precision. But the monsters didn't slow, their screeches filling the air as they charged once more, eager for more blood.

I could barely keep up. My heart was pounding, the fear rising in my chest as I watched the battle unfold with terrifying speed. My brother's voice rang out once more, cutting through the chaos like a blade.

"Don't falter now! They bleed! We bleed too! They'll never break our will!" Bruno shouted.

I could see him now, his body shifting, moving with inhuman speed as he darted toward the next wave of enemies. Gungnir was an extension of his body, its blade glinting in the dim light as he thrust it forward with lightning speed. A monstrous creature lunged at him, its clawed hands reaching out to tear him apart—but before it could even react, Bruno was already there.

SWISH!

The spear cut through the monster's arm like butter, its jagged edges ripping through the air. Bruno spun, twisting his body mid-motion, and with one fluid movement, he impaled the creature through the chest.

CRACK!

The beast's massive body crumpled to the ground, its blood spattering across the battlefield. Bruno didn't stop. His movements were a blur—every strike, every dodge, every counter was perfectly timed, a whirlwind of destruction.

THWACK!

A second beast lunged at him from the side, its massive claws raking across his armor. But Bruno was already moving, flipping backward and then thrusting the spear forward into its heart with a sickening thud. The beast fell lifeless at his feet, its body twitching as it succumbed to the spear's deadly force.

At that moment, a shriek echoed in the distance, and a massive, serpentine monster emerged from the shadows. Its eyes glowed a deep crimson, its jaws opening wide to consume anything in its path. It coiled like a snake, moving with blinding speed, but before it could strike, Diana was already there, standing tall and graceful despite the bloodshed around her.

Her hands extended outward, and a massive, vine-covered fist rose from the earth, smashing into the serpent's head with the force of a mountain.

CRASH!

The serpent was sent flying, its body smashing into the side of a building, the impact shattering stone. But even as it lay broken, it was far from dead. It writhed, its body regrowing rapidly as it let out a deafening roar.

"Die, you wretched beast!" Diana shouted, her voice echoing with divine fury.

With a flick of her wrist, the vine-fist returned, crashing down on the serpent's skull again and again, the relentless blows finally cracking its massive head open. Its body went limp, twitching one last time before crumbling into nothingness.

But the victory was short-lived. More creatures poured out from the rift in the sky, their hideous forms growing larger and more grotesque as they fed on the chaos around them.

"There's no end to them…" I muttered, my hands shaking as I held my nephew, who was still crying, his tiny fists hitting my chest. I could feel the weight of the world pressing down on me. Can we really win this?

Suddenly, a deafening roar shattered the air. I turned just in time to see one of the massive abyssal creatures, its body covered in blood and filth, charging straight toward me. The ground shook with each step it took, and before I could even react, it was already upon me.

"GREY, MOVE!" My brother shouted from across the battlefield.

I barely had time to react as the creature's clawed hand swiped toward me, its razor-sharp claws aimed for my throat. With all my strength, I shoved my nephew into a nearby alcove and dove to the side just as the creature's claws scraped across the ground where I had just been.

CRASH!

I crashed into the stone wall, my body slamming into the cold surface. I could feel the air rush from my lungs, the pain searing through me. My vision blurred for a moment, and I gasped for breath.

But then, through the haze of blood and dust, I saw him—Bruno, moving faster than anything I had ever seen. The spear Gungnir was already embedded in the creature's skull before I even realized he'd moved. With a swift twist, he yanked it out, the monster's head toppling to the ground with a sickening thud.

The battle raged on, faster and faster, more brutal with each passing moment.

But we would fight until the end.

We had no choice.

"Give him to us" a multi overlayed voice roared as a shadow loomed over Ethel. My brother and the love of my life, my sister-in-law walked past me and started levitating slowly going up to meet the Chaos entity.

"Chaos, This place is not for you. Go back home. My children will live." My brother said calmly. Chaos roared with anger.

"Hungggrryyy... Rage... Angry..... Wrath....."The large flying mold squirmed in the sky. It then formed faces many monsters.

"Feed" it said as the monster started tearing themselves from the mold. As the monsters tore itself from the molds. Chaos shrieked with every monster that spawned. It had a giant large crimson face with no eyeballs black blood flowing from them.

My brother smiled. He then stretched his right hand in the air. "Gungnir, Nyeobu. Show us your powers. And...." He paused looking at the monster in the air moving his tight hand back down, steam emanated from his hands as he brought it down. Just then Thunder and lightning roared in the sky. The mould monster that looked unaffected, then started to shriek. It's shriek rung through the air as it wriggled around vigorously. I wondered what brother had done that had caused the monster to scream in pain. As I contemplated what was going on. I felt my sense telling me to leave the palace. In that moment a three headed spear. Larger than the size of the mould emerged from the monster. Aiming towards my direction. It moved so fast that before I could even think it reached my chest sending me flying through the palace. I then passed through the rooms of the palace, crushing from room to room until I get stopped by a set of unknown runes in a foreign room. I then cough out blood. I then turned to see a five year old sleeping peacefully. "It seems he is still asleep". I sighed in relief. Everytime my nephew woke up abruptly and started crying out loud the world would start to quake, mana would be scarce and spirits would go into hiding, as if all of existence was scared by his awakening. Chaos then turned towards the ruined castle and looked straight at me. Filled with hatred. It couldn't move since it was nailed in place in the sky by two weapons. One three headed spear made of sapphire and gold dragon and lightning runes drawn on it and the other a golden stuff with golden carving which I was able to identify as the nirvana scriptures, the holy scriptures written by Buddha herself. There was only one person who only used this staff. I gasped. It was the staff of the great sage. The king of the monkeys Sun wu Kong. How did brother get Sun wu Kongs stuff? Moreover he had Odin's spear the soul seeking spear gungnir. The spear that never misses it target. If I was gungir's target when it hit me I would have died but, since the attack wasn't for me gungir couldn't pierce me . Any normal person would be dead either way. But as a prince of Ethel and one with divine blood I am stronger than your average individual. But still..... That's too far. I complained inwards. "You alright kiddo" brother shouted. I looked at him intensely with utter annoyance.

"Bruno. Are you trying to kill me?" I said coughing out the clot of blood that built up in my throat.

"O don't be such a crybaby. You have taken worse hits than this." He laughed. I watched him stupefied. Diana then knocked my brother on his head causing a make shit tornado to appear right above him sending him towards the ground. "Bruno take this seriously" she chastised him. Do these guys have the mental energy to bicker in this situation?. A deafening roar obstructed my thoughts."BRING IT TO MEEE!!!!!". I heard. I winced at the mental disruption brought about by the roar. My brother turned to look at chaos as he dusted of the dirty from his clothes.

"You know chaos. I am a direct opposite to you. At least that what others say, Buh you know, I am rather a direct complement" my brother said as his eyes glowed a darker and brighter shade of yellow.

"Order"he said. At that moment the sky seemed to crack like glass that was broken into many pieces. " The Dimension of Isolation " I gasped as I watched the phenomenon happening before my eyes. This was a technique only high God's were capable of. It was more of a God domain, an ability that allows you to create a special manifestation of your soul physically. But with my brothers God Domain, he created a whole new reality sort of an alternate reality, in which he rules supreme.

"Dear would you mind dealing with the monsters". My brother said to my sister-in-law with a smile. She watched him with a hint of worry. He smiled goofily.

"Don't worry we live together, we die together ". He said as he looked towards Chaos. She then nodded. And got back down to the palace, glancing coldly at the spawning monsters, she turned, smiling at me.

"Grey. Please look after my children" she walked towards the gathering of mould monsters. Her slender legs touched the ground. Causing a giant tree to appear.

"Interesting. I pity you ugly things". She said with a tint of coldness in a mocking voice. The large tree then brought down one of it branches. She then looked at it and smiled.

"Thank you". She said. "Plant magic, 9 Tier Human magic, Tree of willowed blades."
