Reader perspective :
I rested my head on the pillow and thought about the changes in my life. Slowly drifting away to sleep as i heard distant chatters coming from the yagami household.
Author's perspective:
The sun rised as morning finally came. The bright light shone on y/n's face. Her eyes slowly opened after a good night's sleep. She sprang up out of bed and showered. Then found her new school uniform in the wardrobe and put it on. A blue skirt with a white shirt and blue tie. She tied her hair in a plait and wore her socks and shoes. It felt nice to to look presentable and wear fresh clothes for once. Her ambitions grew as she soaked in the smell of the fresh attire.
Reader's perspective:
I ate a toast and walked outside, closing the door behind me. It looked like the yagamis had already left. I walked towards my new school. When I reached it was quite crowded with new students started and their parents wishing them good luck. I made my way through the crowd toward the classroom. I walked to my classroom and took a seat beside a girl. I could tell right away that she was one of those wannabe popular girls. Her face, caked with makeup and her hand gestures while she gossiped with a crowd next to her desk. Then the class door opened once again and he entered. Light yagami. That beautiful light-brown hair and those brown eyes. He looked as charming as ever. Infact he looked way better than what death note depicted him to be. Everyone in class turned their attention to him when he entered and i could see why.Light was very popular among his peers as the 'topper' and the 'popular guy.'The girl next to me jumped right up and yelled in an irritating voice, "OH LIGHT HERE YOU ARE!" she went ahead and caught his hand as the other students surrounded him. He smiled while they talked. But I saw it. I saw threw his little act. Under that smile ,was an annoyed and angry grit. Threw the crowd I only stared at him. His gaze turned from the ground to me. He had noticed me staring. Now both of us looked only at eachother, directly into our souls. He had expected me to be intimidated and look away but no. I knowingly looked right into those brown eyes of his. I didnt know him at all ,but at the same time i knew him all too well. As we looked at one another, its like the others had vanished and it was only the two of us in the whole room.
Light's perspective:
I was lost in her eyes. She held the same matured gaze as me ,unlike the petty junior high schoolers that engulfed me. Its like she knew my little facade. She saw right threw me,as if she could understand .
The annoying girl tugged on my hand and I got even more irritated. I smiled and turned my eyes to her for a second before shifting my gaze back to the girl from before, but to my astonishment she was gone. In a fraction of seconds she had vanished. My only question now was...
Who was she?
