Chapter 1 - ~How I Met My Boyfriend At A Halloween Party~

Over 70 percent of people celebrate Halloween each year in the United States. There are 7.888 Billion people in the world. At one random halloween party i met my one out of 7.888 billion, special person. (My Boyfriend). One moment has millions of possibilities for the future.

One day, I was texting an old friend of mine named claire. Claire and I had talked multiple times before about trying to make plans to hang out. Then one day she asked me if I wanted to go to a halloween party at a church she goes to. I usually don't go anywhere near churches, but I told her I'd think about it. I looked to see if I had plans or not on my calendar app, and luckily, I didn't. I agreed to go to the event and asked if I could take my roommate and a friend with me, and she agreed.

I originally planned on being a fallen angel, but sadly, my cat didn't like that idea. I went to look for the wings, but sadly, my cat ripped all the feathers off of the wings. I had one other outfit that I thought I could try, and it was pretty much a princess yet not a princess costume. I wore a long red dress with my black heel boots, hair curled, and some red/gold makeup to go with it. On the day of the event, I was very nervous to be at a church. When I went inside to find my friend, I had to ask somewhere where she was, and the adults looked at me like I was the devil. Thankfully, my friend saw us and came to get us.

When Claire brought us to the room we would be hanging out in I was honestly feeling awkward because there were two other people in there. She had to leave before introducing everyone and there was a pathway by the door for the teenagers to scare the little kids. There was a teenage boy there in a freddy krueger costume trying to scare the kids.

Funny enough there was a kid that started to scare the boy instead by putting his hand under the tent and pulling on the boy's leg. The kid started doing that all night long by the way. When Claire came back she introduced everyone to each other. Claire said the teenage boy's name was austin. He was in our grade but he also didn't go to Science Hill. Me, My Roommate and My Friend questioned him about why and he told us what he did in Liberty Bell which i found funny honestly. I loved how honest he was about everything because honestly nowadays not a lot of people are open about their past or just in general.

The building also smelled like a lot of chili because apparently they had a chili competition. A little while later after eating and dancing to music we went outside because they were doing a trunk or treat and everyone wanted to go get candy. After we talked with everyone outside about costumes and stuff we all went to the very last truck that chose to throw candy. Austin kept failing to collect the candy by dropping it on the ground. When he finished collecting candy I went up to him and asked if he wanted to exchange social skills which is usually something I don't do literally ever. He seemed happy but awkward that I asked him and we exchanged it. My friend and roommate then came over and exchanged numbers with him.

After getting candy and exchanging numbers we all went and sat on the ground just talking until we all had to leave. When Me, My Roommate and My Friend all went back to my house my roommate chose to call him. I honestly was out of it and was very giggly which I just said everything on my mind without ever thinking first. Thankfully though I didn't say anything bad. After that day me and him texted every single day and there hasn't been a day since that we haven't texted at least once. One of the difficulties I had with liking him was that the friend I was with at the party said they had a crush on me.

After a couple days me and Austin and my roommate all went to hangout. He was very easy to talk to, which I found weird because it takes me a while to be comfortable enough to talk to people like I talked to him. About a week after hanging out at the party we both came out that we liked each other. The very next day we hung out in person to talk over things. That's when I found out what my friend had been texting him the entire time while saying they liked me. My friend said they wanted to be F-Buddies which he said no but they continued to say stuff.

Austin when he found out I liked him back ended it with the girl so that we could be together. The day before he was going to meet my parents my friend made a bunch of inappropriate lies to get me and my family to hate him. She claimed she deleted the messages about everything though and that she couldn't get the information back. She claimed he forced her to send stuff. He had the proof on his phone of the stuff she actually said but she wasn't the victim but actually a liar. She apparently also showed my brother her actual messages which just proved she was lying. She then after getting caught tried to say that me and him were playing with her feelings and we explained no one tried to hurt her feelings which was why neither of us dated her.

After getting things dealt with her that day the very next day my boyfriend met my parents. I knew I could trust him and she had a past of breaking couples up. I really liked him a lot and he made it quite clear I could talk to him whenever and that he would be there for me. My dad and him had their talk and my dad talked to my mom and they both were then okay with it. Me and him are now Girlfriend and Boyfriend. We occasionally have issues with other girls but we always talk to each other about it. When we first got together we promised each other that no matter what we would never go to bed angry and that if someone flirts with us that we will tell the other person and if necessary block them if they try to impose the relationship. Now we're both happy and no matter what happens we always talk to each other.
