The two Moore mages' Blood Infants clearly still had a pair of scale wings, obviously still retaining some magical beast attributes, they wouldn't abandon all innate magical abilities.
Fallen magic is just that, an evil magic that takes shortcuts. Although it's many times more difficult to advance to higher levels than ordinary mages and the magic power is significantly weakened, shortcuts are shortcuts after all. They are easy to learn, and high-level mages with Blood Infants are almost like Beamon priests, fighting with aids. Once the level of advancement reaches magic instructors or magic tutors' high-order mages, the actual strength when they were intermediate or advanced is completely subversive. Even though it is much weaker compared with ordinary magic, who would dare look down upon the ability to fight two opponents at once?
