Now Captain Gatuso wanted to cry but no tears came out. Although he and his son, the holy knight Thomas, had magic protection on their armor, this protection only defended against offensive magic. Against a supportive earth elemental magic like "Stone Skin Technique", the magic protection would not react; and such supportive magic couldn't be dispelled other than by a priest's "Holy Dispel" or a mage's "Magic Erase".
The question now is, could they still rely on the two mages?
