To protect Guoguo on his back, Dagger wrapped his own neck around the splash of fiery, burning magma that he couldn't avoid. Even his "Fire Crystal Armor" couldn't block the damaging lava. From his eyes downwards, Dagger was completely seared by the hot lava, causing waves of boiling heat. His slender crane neck broke out in innumerable tiny blisters; the sight was both nauseating and terrifying. It was unclear if this was a side effect of the high temperature or if the lava was toxic.
