"Ugh!" A figure jolted up from the ground as sweat dripped down his cheek, revealing himself to be a black haired male with blue eyes, his breath was ragged and slow, but he gained control over a few breaths.
His expression was one of confusion and bewilderment as he examined the room, ignoring the fact he himself was wearing an orange jumpsuit and a suspiciously high tech watch but he shifted that to the side of his head as he found himself to be in what he presumed to be a metal box.
"W-Where am I?" He wondered as he scanned the box but to his surprise, there was one other person beside him, wearing the same orange jumpsuit with the watch and a brown bag placed beside him.
"Millie." He muttered, looking down at the floor with a look of sadness in his eyes.
"Argh." A soft groan could be heard to his side, prompting him to look at the source.
His eyes widened as he saw a pretty looking blonde boy, his jade eyes glistened as if they were real emeralds and paired with his soft pale skin, and he looked like the miniature version of a teenage vampire as he looked like a 14 to 16 year old.
"Who are you?" The blonde guy asked, rubbing his head in pain as he examined the box before finally settling on the black haired man.
"I-I could ask you the same question." The black haired man asked back. The blonde boy stared at him for some seconds before sighing.
"Fine, the name's Vincent, but you can call me Vince for short." He answered, still staring at him as if waiting for something.
"Oh, I'm Lu Chen but you can call me Chen for short." Lu Chen also began his introduction although awkwardly since Vince was still looking straight looking into his eyes.
"Okay then, by any chance do you know where we are." Vincent asked another question but his attention was somewhere else.
"Ah....no, I just woke up a few minutes before you." Lu Chen answered meekly, looking up at the ceiling for moment before looking down.
"What's inside the bag?" Vincent asked, pointing at the brown bag placed just beside Lu Chen.
"Oh that, I don't know I didn't check."
Vincent didn't answer only glancing at him before turning his neck to find a bag of his own. He reached for it, unzipping it as he placed it on his lap.
"What the hell." Vincent raised his eye brow in bewilderment as eh looked at the contents of the bag, reaching his hand inside.
"What's in the bag?" Lu Chen asked, his curiosity peaked by Vincent's expression.
"You tell me." Vincent uttered before he pulled out a katana in a sheath placing it on the ground before pulling out a pair of Desert Eagles in a holster.
"Are…are they real?" Lu Chen questioned
"Let's test it out." Vincent smiled, pointing one of the guns at Lu Chen as horror and panic plastered on his face. He tried to move backwards but slipped, falling to the ground.
"Why you haven't seen a gun before." Vincent laughed looking at the trembling bimbo in front of him.
"I have seen them but never up to my face." Lu Chen muttered looking elsewhere before noticing his own bag.
He stood up before walking towards the bag, bending over as he unzipped it finding an AK-47 with some clothes and some cans.
"Hey Vince, why do think we are in a box with weapons." Lu Chen asked, his tone becoming more serious.
"I don't actually know but by what we are given, it's probably a game of sorts." Vincent explained.
"A game?"
"Yeah, a game. I mean weapons and a box haven't you seen any one of those survival games." Vince waved his arm, sighing as he stood to his feet.
He walked to the wall, in front of them before pointing at the line in the middle.
"Wait, is that a door?" Lu Chen asked, walking towards Vincent.
"Yeah, now all I have to do is figure a way to open it" Vincent smiled as he cracked his knuckles before placing his hands on the door.
[SFX for door opening]
As soon as Vincent touched the doors, with a swoosh they opened up causing Lu Chen to flinch while Vincent was conflicted as he saw what lay on the outside.
It took a second for him to calm down as he ran back to his bag grabbing the sword before equipping it and his bag. Meanwhile Lu Chen was confused for a moment before he stretched his head out to look, only for his eyes to widen in surprise.
Far as his eyes could see, trees surrounded them making it seem like they were in a forest of some sort but it wasn't only them as they were a couple of boxes outside theirs.
"Hey, Chen take this." Vincent said, handing him the Assault Rifle and his bag as he walked out of the box.
"Where am I?"
"What is this place?"
Questions filled the halls as Vincent and Lu Chen advanced through the crowd, occasionally getting glances from the others there.
"Hmm, I wonder why all of us are here." Vincent wondered and as if on que, a massive hologram of a hooded being began to materialize in the middle of the grassland.
"Welcome Players to Psy Live."
