Chapter 131 - IMPERSONATION PROOF

"Come on, you can't leave me hanging here," I pleaded while hugging her, "I can help."

"Alex, I know you're capable, but this mission requires a delicate touch. We don't want unnecessary casualties. Leave this small base to us. I promise to leave the main base to you. Besides, you have a responsibility here too. And a word of advice, don't deceive Alana further," Mom replied. Her arms were around my shoulder.

"Yeah, I gave it a thought. Alana is a good person. She had no idea about the truth. Back then she was going through a rough time so that money at least didn't go to waste, but that's not the point. Had Alica asked for my help, I would have given her the money. But she just had to do that and I can't forgive her for that. But I need to gather all the evidence and get Alica's confession before revealing my real identity to her," I explained.

I paused for a moment, gathering my thoughts. "Besides, I have plans to revive Alana's career. She's been through a lot, and it's time to help her reclaim her dreams and find success once again. I won't let anyone hinder her progress."

Mom nodded in understanding, her support unwavering. "I'm proud of you, Alex. You've grown into a remarkable young man, balancing your personal vendettas with a genuine desire to make a positive impact. Just remember to tread carefully and stay true to your principles. And when you find Alica, keep your emotions in check."

"I will try, but no promises," I chuckled.

"Then, I will get going," Mom said.

I kissed her lips, "Take care."

"I always do." She smiled as she kissed me back and stepped out of my embrace. Then she opened a blue portal and disappeared beyond it.

After Mom left, I prepared some breakfast for my girls and Alana. But Harley, Jenny, and Hina were ready to embark on an adventure of their own.

"So, are you girls not going to eat breakfast?" I asked.

"Pack it up! We are going on a threesome girls' date," Harley babbled out while checking through her bag.

I raised an eyebrow as Harley, Jenny, and Hina exchanged mischievous glances, a playful smirk dancing on their lips. The term "threesome girls date" caught me off guard, and I couldn't help but chuckle at their enthusiasm.

"What's the plan for your 'threesome girls' date'? Should I be worried?" I replied, my curiosity piqued.

Harley giggled, her blue and pink hair shimmering in the sunlight. "Oh, don't you worry, Alex. It's just a fun day out to explore the island and have some girl time. We'll be back before you know it."

Jenny nodded, her vibrant blue hair falling in waves around her shoulders. It seems she dyed her hair again. "Yeah, don't worry about us. And take care of Alana." I can see a mischievous grin on her lips.

"Alright," I turned to Hina, "If you are going out then don't forget to get the underwater diving experience. And do take care of these two." I said.

Hina, who had been mostly silent, smiled warmly. "I'm looking forward to it. And don't worry Daddy, leave them to me," she said puffing her chest like a kid.

Haaa. I wanted to say, I am not your daddy. But, oh, well... I will let it slide this time. For some reason, it feels like I have heard it before and said it many times before... Huh?! Weird.

I couldn't help but feel a mix of amusement and relief. Seeing them excited and eager to enjoy themselves reminded me of the importance of taking breaks from the chaos. They deserved this time to unwind and create cherished memories, especially Hina. She has been through a lot and spending time with them will be good for her.

I packed up their meal.

"Alright, have a great time, girls," I said, a genuine smile on my face. "Enjoy your 'threesome girls' date' and make the most of it. And, Harl, promise me you won't get into too much trouble."

Harley winked at me, her playful nature shining through. "Oh, don't worry. I promise I won't be a bad girl today."

With that, the three of them bid me farewell and set off on their adventure, their laughter, and excited chatter fading into the distance. As I watched them go, a sense of contentment settled within me, knowing that they were in good spirits and able to enjoy some well-deserved downtime.

I turned my attention back to the breakfast preparations, allowing my thoughts to wander.

--[My Room]--

I gently brushed a strand of hair away from Alana's face as she slowly stirred awake. There was a strange desire within me, an inexplicable urge to claim her as my own and keep her away from everyone else. It was a feeling I couldn't quite understand, but it seemed to consume me in that moment.

I want her. I want to make her mine.

Alana's eyes fluttered open, confusion evident on her face as she took in my appearance. It wasn't Vincent's face that greeted her, but my own. I could see the surprise and bewilderment in her eyes as she struggled to comprehend the sudden change.

"Wha... Vincent?" Alana stammered, her voice filled with disbelief. Well, can't blame her. Right now, my skill is on cooldown so I can't shift my face to become Vincent. And as far as I remember, Alana never say my real face, so she wouldn't know that I am Alex, her daughter's ex-boyfriend.

"Ain't I looking more handsome than before?" I couldn't help but chuckle softly at her reaction. "Well, it seems you've caught me, Alana. The truth is, this is my real face. The one you saw earlier was a disguise, created by my awakened power. I can modify human bodies to my own desire."

Alana's eyes widened in astonishment as she processed the revelation. The realization that the person she had known as Vincent was, in fact, capable of altering his appearance left her momentarily speechless. She searched my face for any sign of deception, her expression a mix of curiosity and intrigue.

"Wait... So, you're saying you can change your appearance at will?" Alana asked, her voice filled with a mix of awe and uncertainty. "Does that mean you can make someone older appear younger or vice versa?"

I nodded, a hint of a smile playing on my lips. "Indeed, Alana. My power allows me to modify the physical attributes of myself and others. I can make subtle or drastic changes, altering age, and features, and even disguising myself completely."

Her eyes sparkled with a newfound curiosity, her mind spinning with the possibilities. "That's incredible. But why have you kept this a secret? And why reveal it to me now?"

I sighed, a hint of vulnerability seeping into my voice. "I kept it hidden because it's a power that can be dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands. But as for revealing it to you now, I trust you, and I wanted to be honest with you."

Alana reached out and gently touched my cheek, her touch soft and comforting. "Thank you for trusting me enough to share this, Vincent. It's a lot to take in, but I appreciate your honesty."

A wave of relief washed over me as Alana accepted the truth, her warm demeanor putting me at ease.

"You are going to take my words just like that?" I asked. She accepted it too fast.

"Yes. Because I know you are telling the truth and you are indeed Vincent. You see my awakened power might not be that useful, but whenever I touch a person, they get registered in my brain. It's kinda hard to explain, but impersonating someone I have touched before can not deceive me," Alana explained.
