"What the hell?" Chris was confused; he was about to give up and wait a day to play again.
"You can do this!" Zy noticed Chris' reaction on his screen and decided to see what happened. She started playing midway, and she didn't come across this.
"Oh my God! You have a job class without being level 10, and it's a mythic one at that. You also gained an amazing skill, though it has a long cooldown, but the benefits outweigh the cons. That's awesome.." ZY was pinching her arms to see if she was dreaming. This was so mind-boggling. Are the game developers all idiots? They added this kind of freak show!
A few minutes before Chris started playing Banzrant,
Gerard went and checked the status of the Smith Co.
The Smith Corporation has not issued an announcement and probably will not until Gerard decides to reveal himself. It has probably just been an hour since he got a hold of the stock of Smith Co., so they are busy calming their minds and finding Gerard without informing the public.
He closed the tab after researching the corporation, and as he saw, there would be no news anytime soon.
Gerard was bored at his desk; he didn't want to continue stock trading for now. If he decides to focus on the stock market, he could own 100 percent of the money in the world, but that would also kill the limit of the ring. It would be more fun if he could do all sorts of stuff aside from the stock market.
His only problem was that he only had one skill now. He decides to see his system and touches his ring.

"Woah, how did I get 306 fame? I believe that my previous fame is at 2. What happened?" Gerard didn't understand how fame works.
An idea went through Gerard's mind: perhaps fame doesn't take into account whether people have seen me or know me as a person. He theorizes that it just needs to be him; this way, his fame number can be explained.
With Gerard's research earlier, he discovered that Smith Corporation has 300 workers on its hands; that would probably explain the 300 in his fame. It really is logical since what he did to the company was very much like nuking them.
The office must be in hell to find that some unknown stranger has gotten a hold of their company.
Gerard didn't take note of the extra six; he didn't care for irregular numbers; they still had uses for him. A flowing stream of money is better than stagnant; that's why it's better to invest than to save money; inflation will hit those who only save without investment.
He searched for his stock market app and clicked on it. Seeing his 100 million slightly increase, a smile crept up on his face.
He clicked on the transfer button, and it began processing.
After a few minutes, there was a notification that said a million dollars had been transferred to his bank account. Gerard was now satisfied and rested his back again on his chair.
Life's now easy for him; there weren't a lot of customers, and now he can take a rest like he hadn't in the past year.
It was the greatest gift he could have had. The only thing he now questions is, "Why am I so lucky after I gained this ring?"
Though the answer is right under his nose, Gerard just swipes it off gently. His nose was itching.
At the Smith Corporation,
"Sir, a bank transfer has been made from our stocks. It's the one who got hold of 100% of our stock. Shall we check up on him?" Crystal asked.
"Don't you see he already owns the company? Why would you spy on your next boss? Sigh, I just hope he doesn't let this company fall into ruins. I have worked this country from ashes to this height." Vince solemnly said.
The office turned silent; it was really a big event.
Current time, 3:00 pm,
Gerard noticed a shout from Chris' area, and he decided to go since it would be troublesome if another tongue battle came about.
Gerard saw Chris playing a game while a girl watched him with surprise.
Gerard didn't recognize Zy and thought she must've been here much earlier than him.
At this time, Zy once again felt someone on her back and turned back slowly to avoid what had happened earlier.
Though she still came to a surprise when Gerard was looking at Chris' monitor, the distance between them was not as close to her as it was with Chris.
"Is today my lucky day?" Zy said sarcastically.
"What's the commotion here?" Gerard didn't take into account what Zy had mentioned and directly asked a question.its
"Um, who are you?" She had come here a few times in the past, but she never saw Gerard here.
"I'm Gerard, the newly hired attendant here while Bandit relaxes upstairs, so what seems to be the problem here?"
"Ah, my name's Zy, and there's no problem here, actually. I was just surprised by what Chris had gotten earlier," Zy explained.
"Also, I already apologized to the others, see?" Zy pointed to the other computer users, who all nodded in recognition.
Gerard didn't mention the case any further, but he didn't leave; he was quite curious as to what had happened that had caused ZY to be so shocked.
Thankfully, Chris hadn't clicked anything yet, and Gerard could see how overpowered the latter had gotten. It has the possibility of turning the tides of the battle in one swoop, which is truly frightening indeed.
"Are you done gazing at my skills? Do you know that I have already died while you keep on eyeing them?" Chris harrumphed.
Zy could only apologize; Chris was now going to wait a full day before he could log in again.
Gerard left after checking up on Chris. He now just needs to wait for the clock to strike 5:00 p.m. So he can now withdraw the cash.
After a while, Gerard wondered if he could transfer the money from the bank directly to his system.
He opened his system again.

He clicked the coins tab, and it was really possible. A notification popped out.
[How much money will you convert to coins? ]
He typed 1,000,000 dollars. Soon, a new notification also popped out, saying:
[Congratulations! You have acquired 1,000,000 coins. You can use these coins in the shop or in the Chance Raffle. Have a good spending day.]
He was now happy; he could now open another raffle chance.
He clicked on the raffle chance.
[Spin for the Light Orb? You want to use stakes? ]
Gerard's hand stopped; he was stomped by the stake function of the system.
This will be the way to level something up; if not, he will then wait again to have the same product come up again. Those chances are really slim; the best way is to buy in one go with a large swing. He could even reach max level if he did this.
There is a problem though; with calculation, he was able to compute that he will only gain 10 light orbs, and with his common sense, he was sure he wouldn't get near the max level.
He decided to get $9 million more from his stock.
He first closed his system and booted up his stock market app. There he transferred once again 9 million dollars to his bank. It took more time than the last because of how much money he was going to transfer.
The Smith Corporation is sure to notice this, but what can they do? Even Vince doesn't want to fight Gerard again. This was to have a chance of being rehired, even as an assistant.
The procedure has now finished, and Gerard now has 10,000,000 dollars in his bank account.
Gerard touched his ring once again and booted up his system. He then converted all his money in the bank into coins.
[You have exchanged 9 million dollars for 9 million coins. You have acquired 10 million coins. Have a nice spending today.]
Gerard "clicked" the chance raffle.
[Would you like to buy a light orb to win a chance raffle for 100 thousand coins?]
"Yes"
[Would you like to add a stake?]
"Yes"
[Input how much would you like your stake to be?]
"A hundred, please," Gerard said with excitement.
