Of Creation & love
In the beginning there was one.
And from that one, there was existence.
A being existed that awoke in a vast of nothingness. There was no light and no darkness. Just ONE, without time, without space.
Just the ONE.
Until, that is, there became something.
First came thought and then an emotion that exploded outward causing the eruption of creation and the manifestation of purpose.
Suddenly, there was intention.
Goddess created light so she could see which in turn produced darkness. Goddess created the heavens and then the planets, the physical realms, but the planets were without form. They were void and coexisted with the shadows.
Her spirit moved upon the physical realm and took its first breath, then, she spoke...
"We want warmth." and then came fire.
"We want freedom." and then came water.
"We want focus." and then came air.
"We want..." she paused
"Who is We?"
Goddess's spirit looked upon the atmosphere, her feet fell to the ground beneath, she dipped her fingers within the waters and walked along the bareness of her creation feeling the dwindling warmth from the light above.
Then, she dug her nails deep within her own chest, where she pulled and fought and cried and felt the pain of existence for the first time.
"Please!" She cried... "Please..."
She fought as the light fell along the horizon and darkness consumed the land. It was cold, but she pursued. She was determined.
Finally, as she labored into the morning and the warmth creeped upon her trembling form, from the cavity of her breasts something beautiful emerged.
She had split herself into two.
This being, in every likeness of her own, stared back at her with eyes of the beginning, eyes of nothingness.
She then took this being by the mouth gently, pressing their lips together and exhaled, filling her other half, and expanding its newfound body to its limit.
This breath brought upon first life into the physical realm.
Goddess named her "Girl."
Girl gained awareness in that moment and spoke to Goddess. "What am I?"
And Goddess replied, "You are me and I am you."
As the light fell from the heavens into the abyss only to return again the next cycle, over and over, Goddess and Girl built their world together.
They created the grasses and the mosses which were soft and cozy to nap in…
They created trees and the bushes which bore delicious fruits, each containing new flavors…
They created beings from the dirt, the water, and the air around them and gave them each a name.
They were at peace, and they were happy.
But Goddess was unable to live entirely within the physical realm. The more time she spent with Girl, the more ill she became and she could see Girl's eyes filling with worry and grief.
Goddess said to Girl, "I must leave this plane of existence, but I will not be far. When your soul is ready to leave this reality, you may live beside me in the next phase."
Girl's eyes filled with salty warm tears just like the depths of the ocean and she replied, "Please do not leave me..."
Goddess smiled, placing her forehead to Girl's and spoke, "Do not worry. I will bestow three gifts upon you before I go."
"First, I gift to you a direct communication to the spiritual realm through word. Your dreams and ambitions, your pains, and your sufferings, I will feel and understand them all. If ever you need me, just speak to me and I will always listen."
"Second, I gift to you an ability like my own. I made you, a physical portal to take from the spiritual realm. Through birth you may call upon spirit and transport it here, but life comes at a price. The process will be painful just as existence is painful. You will struggle to bring on the gift of life just as I struggled to bring on your own."
"Third, and lastly, I gift to you a partner so you will never be lonely. A being created from all aspects of the planets. I call him "Boy." He is the closest being to planet as he is created from the essence of the physical realm, just as you were created from the essence of the spiritual realm. He will form his own ideals and feelings and keep you grounded. He will be your greatest pillar of support and provide the safest space within his embrace. You will each experience two sides of the same reality and learn to treasure something other and different from yourself. You will build this world together into anything and everything you desire."
And with this, Goddess evaporated, and
'Boy' arose. He looked Girl in the eyes and spoke, "Who am I?"
And Girl replied, "You are me and I am you."
Girl and Boy went on to build a world together, day to night, and night to day, planet to planet, universe to universe, and at last, there were many.
