I wish to simply begin this with a thank you, and nothing more. I wish to extend my gratitude towards you, stranger, for deciding to click on this work of fiction and not skipping to the Prologue and instead reading this note, because, believe me, I have done the same thing.

This story takes place in the Underdark, and for those of you unaware of its existence (typically for those who do not play Dungeons and Dragons, and I strongly recommend you do, especially if you enjoy the story) it is a place where dark elves, commonly known as drow, live and worship their chaotic and extremely evil spider goddess, named Lolth.

Now, in Dungeons and Dragons drow are not the sole representatives of the elven race, but instead those who turned away the typical elven Gods (for instance Corellon), and instead opted to turn away from the sunlight to worship their Spider Queen. As far as I'm aware, everything else is revealed throughout the story, and feel free to comment or message me with any questions that may plague your mind.

Keep in mind as well that I am completely new to Webnovel, and the only reason I expanded my writing horizons to something unknown is because a dear friend of mine recommended it to me. So, bear with me!
