I take my time leaving the pyramid, trying to bide as much time as possible before I have to face the contender.
I was not looking forward to facing a Tier 8 Shadowmancer. From the multiple Tier 1 spells I had, I could tell shadow spells were overpowered compared to elemental spells.
The spells that I had were all Tier 1 and I felt they were extremely lethal and powerful already. I couldn't imagine what someone who was two tiers off from the max was like.
Now I wondered what a Tier 10 spell would be like. From what I've heard, Tier 10 spells were basically spammable ultimates, where some could even change the environment.
I had yet to witness this, so I don't know how valid this rumor was, but I knew that I was barely Tier 4 compared to someone who was Tier 8.
Exiting the pyramid, I realize that Skiaxodius never really gave me instructions on how to find his shunned contender.
