TAMANA snapped out of her trance after Derek had mentioned her name.
"Hey," Derek called again, "are you alright?" he spotted the glasses lying on the floor next to Tamana and picked them up then directed them towards her face, sliding the frames through her curly hair until they rested on her ears.
The clear visual of Derek would have been the best thing that Tamana had seen that entire day ever since they set foot in the WHO building but that happy moment was immediately extinguished after she caught sight of Hector Marconi emerging through the gaping hole in the Plexiglas wall.
She knew they had to run but after what she had just done, she was not sure whether she had anymore strength left within her and neither did Derek by the looks of it. Tamana took in his appearance, noticing how the infection had spread and his left eye had turned completely black. She was disheartened by this and could only imagine the amount of pain that Derek was going through.
