Yet again, it tried moving toward Lucas in a single leap with its hands. When it reached close enough, it used its hands involuntarily to change direction inside the hut once more.
Lucas watched it roar in frustration for a few seconds before stepping back inside the shelter.
For the first time, the Kobold noticed the strange, black, inked rune on its chest, which hadn't been there when it was last awake. It clawed at its chest, trying to tear the rune off, but all it felt was pain, with no results.
The rune was now a part of it, and it had no choice in the matter.
"So, can I learn this skill too, Lucas?" Jerry asked excitedly.
"If you want to learn it on your own, you'll need extensive rune knowledge and the skill level to back it up. Though, we can try getting you one in the dungeon."
