Chapter 1 - 1. A SILENT VOICE

Today in church, I saw a man and a woman

So normal as far as my eye could see

"A happy couple" I thought

After the sweet melodies to the Lord, a man not so tall yet not so short stood before them

"Are they going to sing?" My young mind thought

Till I heard the booming voice of the Father and this man's arms rose high to eye level only for them to start moving,. silently giving the couple an inside on Mass.

"He's a translator" realization came in like a speeding train.

Questions!!!...

questions one after the other raced in my head

"Why were they smiling, why were they laughing?" but most of all I asked myself, "Why wouldn't they b smiling or laughing."

A silent voice The Knowing Spirit answered my questions

Why were they smiling?...

Because they were in the presence did the Lord, seeing the beauty in Catholicism and mighty set up of the alter

Why were they laughing?...

They saw something funny, though could not hear, relied on each other to understand each other and to hold each other

Why wouldn't they be smiling or laughing?...why??

The little things, the little actions that slip is by are truly the beauties of the world.

When we clapped, they clapped along, not because of the sweet melodies but to belong.

The smile the lady had on her face, put my mind to ease and heart at steady pace.

Today in church I saw a man and a woman, a couple,...so normal far from what my eyes could see or mind could comprehend.
