Back in the reception, Mary who was eating her dessert while sulking looked up at the man who owns the voice.
During Henry's surprise birthday party, even though she and Anton agreed to be each other's date, they were not able to enjoy each other's company. They were the ones tasked by Amy to handle the preparation and everything needed during the occasion including entertaining the guests.
Now that Amy and Henry are married, she can't help but get jealous that she and Amy will have less time together and she's left alone with no one to spend time with. Don't get her wrong, she is happy for the couple but having a man of her own would be a nice addition to her monotonous life.
"I thought you'd never ask," Mary smiled upon seeing Anton handing his hand which she immediately took with grace.
"You look so lovely today Mary. Let me apologize for not giving you much attention last time. I wa –"
