The stream currently had a couple of viewers despite being completely new on the scene.
One can only guess that it is because Yu Yan is the only stream in the cultivation category!
Nonetheless, having Tulan on stream also helps retains the audience retention. Yu Yan was satisfied by the effect Tulan brings on stream.
Even so, he frowned.
It's not hard for him to notice the strange clues and hints in the chat regarding the streaming category, so he asked.
"What is going on system?"
[The system has created a new category for cultivation to help the host have the appropriate category for your stream. This new category is only available for a selected few individuals on earth.] The system coldly sounded.
Then he nodded, understanding the intention of the system.
Just as he want to look at the chat, the system came through again.
[Host can't possibly be thinking of streaming in the irl section right?] The usual cold, arrogant tone of the system was not there. Instead, it felt like the system was looking at him.
Even though he can't see the system, he felt like someone was staring at him with a look of disgust.
'A male like you can't possibly think of streaming in the same category as those sisters right? Are you that pink?'
Yu Yan twitched his lips, thankfully, because of the mask on his face, no one could see his expression.
Because of the system transmission, he could more or less understood the system's hints.
He shook his head, clearing the system's words away before asking again.
"System, I heard that Mystic Sword mentioned league of immortals, is that some sort of game?"
[Yes host, it is a popular game among young people. It is best if the host avoids the game in case you developed an addiction."
He froze on the spot.
'Why do I feel like the system is getting more and more snappy?'
…
On the other side, the young man with the alias Mystic Sword rubbed his eyes, trying to make sure he was not hallucinating.
He could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he stared in disbelief at the screen.
He rubbed his eyes once again, but the image remained the same. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"Am I dreaming? How can they be on the moon? Is this some kind of prank or special effects?" He muttered to himself, his mind racing with questions and confusion.
He leaned forward in his chair, his eyes fixated on the screen as he tried to make sense of the strange and eerie image before him. The golden retriever and the man in the dark mask seemed unfazed by their surroundings, but Mystic Sword couldn't shake off the feeling of unease and disbelief.
Even after rubbing his eyes several times, the image of the gray landscape underneath Tulan's feet, and the captivating earth floating behind her back as the man with the dark mask and golden retriever came together to form a strange image became even more clear.
-----
"Holy fuck, is that a dog on the moon? How is that even possible?!" Mystic Sword exclaimed, clearly in disbelief.
One Finger One Death: I refuse to believe they are really on the moon!
Mystic Sword: Sister, is this a new filming marketing plan for an upcoming martial drama?
South River, a more seasoned viewer, rolled his eyes at the skepticism of the others," idiot, which company would go out of their way to have such a low-key stream in an attempt to market their upcoming drama? It is clearly a CGI stream!" he replied.
"I agree with brother South River. It must be a CGI stream. How could a human with no equipment, let alone a freaking golden retriever, survive in space?" One Finger One Death, chimed in.
At this moment, Tulan looked at the chat with her divine sense and sensed the confusion and disbelief in their messages. She couldn't help but feel a slight headache, feeling that this is more difficult than she initially thought.
Mystic Sword let out a sigh of relief and wiped the sweat from his forehead, praising the host of the stream for putting in so much effort on their first stream
"It must be a CGI stream then," he typed in the chat. "I was scared for a second that was real. Truly well done!"
Meanwhile, Yu Yan simply smiled behind his mask, amused by the reactions of the viewers. The golden retriever wagged its tail, seemingly unaware of the attention it was getting.
Mystic Sword real name is Zhang Lin, a nephew of Zhang Tuo.
He wasn't a rich second-generation young master or even a third-generation young master, however, he was well off enough to afford to go to college and live in a decent apartment despite being so young.
Of course, he's not aware that his uncle, Zhang Tuo, was a cultivator of the 1st stage.
In fact, most cultivators with mortal ties rarely reveal the fact that they are cultivators.
This was to keep themselves and their relatives safe.
Without sufficient powers, they fear the consequence that comes with enemies who lurk in the shadow, targeting their close ones.
This is especially more so after the retreat of various influential families and clans.
Although the modern day has changed the approach of many cultivators nowadays, it didn't change the core of the cultivation world, and that core is a ruthless one.
At the end of the day, as long as benefits are involved, anything goes. This is the desolate world of cultivation.
Was this a coincidence?
Zhang Tuo would never imagine that his nephew end up seeing Yu Yan on a stream, what would his reaction be when he sees Yu Yan again?
One can only guess.
"Everyone, look carefully behind me, this is not a cgi stream."
South River: Beauty, how are you getting signal up there? No way you have NASA's server plugged into your computer right?
Zhang Lin reacted to his message, laughing along South River's sarcastic comment.
At this moment, she realized her words were useless, so she thought of an idea.
"Since everyone here doesn't seem to believe that stream is on the moon, why don't I do a quick verification?" She mischievously smiled.
Because the mask only covers the upper half of her face, her smile was clearly captured on camera, stunning the few viewers in the stream.
One Finger One Death: Verify? How can we verify that you are streaming on the moon?
Mystic Sword: That's right! How can you prove that ridiculous claim?
Mystic Sword: Even if you want to rise to the moon, there's a limit to your boasting!
Then, the stream turned silent.
Tulan looked toward the chair where Yu Yan sat at.
He is currently playing around on his phone with Gongniu by his side, occasionally giggling like an idiot.
"Just do it, why not?" He indifferently waved his hand. How could he not guess what was on her mind with the way she looks at him?
Her smile grew even brighter after getting Yu Yan's permission.
At this moment, she focus the camera on herself, then asked.
"It's simple. I will send down lightning in the area of one of the viewers, as long you can see it within your sight, then it wouldn't be impossible to believe we're on the moon right?"
Boom!
Mystic Sword: Sister, you can't be going around saying something that outlandish, people might take you to a psych-ward!
South River: That's right beauty, no matter how proud you are, it's not bad that your stream is already this good, how about we get a drink instead of playing with lightning?
They couldn't believe her claim and took it as a joke instead.
Then, the chat devolved into the two chatting with one another, with one of them trying to get Tulan number.
Before long, one of the lurkers in the channel typed out a comment.
Long Stick: Beauty, how about it, my address is a small island Northwest of the Northern Mariana island, does that do?
Tulan raised an eyebrow at the mention of the unfamiliar island, intrigued by the newcomer's message.
Mystic Sword: An island Northwest of the Northern Mariana island? I've never heard of such an island.
South River: I just looked at the map of the surrounding Northern Mariana island, there is no island northwest of it, he's trolling you beauty.
Ignoring the off-topic conversation between Mystic Sword and South River, Tulan focused on the new viewer's message, "Interesting, I've never heard of that island before. Do you mind sharing more about it?"
Long Stick replied almost immediately.
Long Stick: it's a small, secluded island that's not well known, it's definitely not worth mentioning.
The location that Long Stick mentioned was a misty island not recorded on the map.
It was the Thousand Bamboo island of the Song Family!
Somewhere in the courtyard of the main family, is Uncle Jia.
With a closer look, you can see him fiddling around with his laptop.
Song Yin can't help herself but walked behind him, peeping at the screen.
"Uncle, you're watching a stream on bili? What stream is this?" She curiously asked, seeing the strange scenery and atmosphere.
The 'Long Stick' in Yu Yan's chat is Uncle Jia of the Song family!
"I don't know, it's a new category added today. This lady claim she's streaming on the moon and chat doesn't believe her. Even I don't believe it, let alone some mortal. So she's verifying it by sending down lightning on the area nearby any of the viewers to prove her point!" Uncle Jia shook his head in amusement, unable to believe the arrogant boasting on stream.
As the camera zoomed in on the fox-masked lady, Song Yin's eyes widened in shock.
The scenery behind her was definitely not of this world. It was the moon, and there was a golden retriever sitting next to a man with a dark mask.
"What the hell?" she gasped, her heart racing with excitement and disbelief. She had never seen anything like this before.
The chat was still floating with disbelief and skepticism, but Song Yin was captivated by the lady's words and the strange scenary behind her.
She couldn't help but wonder if this was all real or just an elaborate hoax.
Uncle Jia, on the other hand, was still shaking his head in amusement, "These streamers will do anything to get views," he chuckled.
Song Yin looked at the beautiful lady standing there with her hand behind her back.
Then, she saw the fox-masked lady turned with her turn to face the camera.
"What is she doing?"
At this moment, her voice came through the laptop on speaker. It was soft, and alluring, containing a unique charm that can soothe one's ears.
Tulan chuckled, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she pointed towards the earth. "Northwest of the Northern Mariana Island, you say?"
Her divine sense had already reached the earth and located a hidden island covered with a complex link of illusion array, shrouding it from view, along with a couple of defensive and killing arrays.
However, for Tulan, the sets of arrays were simply too rudimentary.
"Your illusion array needs some work. It's a bit crude, don't you think?" she remarked, a playful smirk on her lips.
Uncle Jia, who was watching the stream on his laptop in the courtyard of the Song Family, felt a chill run down his spine as he heard her words.
The color drained from his face and his playful smile was replaced by an expression of dread.
He clutched at his laptop, but even as he did so, the screen flickered and distorted, the image of the moon replaced by a dark vortex that seemed to suck everything into it.
He looked up towards the sky, feeling his breath caught in his throat as he looked up at the sky.
The clouds seemed to boil and roil like a tempestuous ocean, the very heavens churning as though an entire sea had been evaporated, wind howled around him, and he could feel it tearing at his clothes and hair!
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
