Jeffery only regained consciousness three days later and during this time Philip had to go back home even if he didn't want to.
Urgh
"Mom?" Tina was sitting beside him asleep with her head on his bed.
"Sun, Sun you're okay" she had dark circles under her eyes as she smiled.
"Why are you so stressed?" Jeffrey asked with a confused expression.
Tina stared at her son in disbelief and took a deep breath to contain her anger. "Nurse!!!"
A nurse hurried in and a doctor followed right behind her.
"His is very fine now right?" Tina asked with a forced smile.
Jeffrey suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.
"Nothing wrong. He can be discharged immediately" the doctor nodded.
"Great so I shouldn't felt guilty about what I'm about to do"
The next thing Jeffrey felt was a slap at the back of his head. "Ow?"
"Do...you...have...any idea how worried I was?" Tina said angrily.
Jeffrey sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry"
"We'll talk at home"

On the way home Jeffrey was thinking about what could have caused him to stay unconscious for three days.
'I missed classes for three days. So annoying' Jeffrey groaned inwardly.
"Look who finally decided to get better," Moon said sarcastically.
Jeffrey ignored her like he always did and instead searched for his dad. "Where's dad?"
"I called and said you're better so he went back," Tina said before heading to her room.
Jeffrey also left, he needed to ask Philip about what happened.

Inside a mansion in the Viewers Dimension, Philip was doing his assignments which was a sight you don't see every day.
"Can't believe I got grounded and Serena got a what, a time out" Philip said angrily and threw away his pen.
"It could have been worse, he still doesn't know I'm in your room" Zakhir said.
Philip groaned in frustration and continued doing his assignments when his phone suddenly rang.
After seeing the name of the caller he sighed in relief. "Sup, I was starting to think you were dead"
"Although not scientifically proven, you're older than I am so you should have an idea of who is dying first" Jeffrey replied with a straight face.
Philip was tempted to smash his phone against the wall but calmed himself with a deep breath.
"Believe it or not, you can't make my day any worse, so why are you calling?"
"What actually happened before I fell unconscious" Jeffrey drove straight to the point.
"I don't know, the scene just started skipping and then we were thrown out" Philip shrugged.
"So it did have something to do with it" Jeffrey sighed.
"How many times have you used the ability?" Zakhir suddenly asked catching them off guard.
"Four times" Jeffrey asked.
"How many did you complete?" Zakhir asked with a frown.
"None?" Jeffrey was a bit confused.
"Are you crazy?" Zakhir's eyes widened at the phone. "No wonder you fainted, be happy you didn't die"
Philip stared at him with a raised eyebrow while Jeffrey seemed to be contemplating something.
"Can you come over?" Jeffrey asked.
"No, I got grounded and Link has his eyes on me 24/7. I got blamed because that witch got scolded" Philip growled.
"Never mind, I'll stop by tomorrow" Jeffrey said before hanging up.
Zakhir on the other hand was pacing with a serious expression on his face. 'What is Mangrell even thinking and where is he?'
According to the little he understood about Mangrell's ability, each book had its separate place like a dimensional pocket yet to be discovered.
So one needs to be stabilized before moving to another but what Jeffrey did was the exact opposite since he left four unstable dimensions unattended.
'This successor will probably die before he could even begin to unravel the ability

A year later
Jeffrey had stopped using the ability entirely after Zakhir told him about the pocket dimensions that exist in every book. He thought it was crazy but it was better to be safe than sorry.
His verification was in seven months which was just around the corner.
Jeffrey already had his story outline but the discovery of magic disrupted his outline a bit which resulted in a few additions but he didn't want to write about something he wasn't sure of which made him pause.
"Snow is getting verified next month, so lucky" May sighed as she played with her food.
Jeffrey did not reply and instead turned to Evie. "I could not help but notice the rumor going on about your choice"
Evie stopped eating and stared at him. The three had grown close the last year, well she did grow close with May "What do you think?"
"Does that matter? Anyway, I just want you to be very sure. Verification of a comic author is strict" Jeffrey said.
"So I head but I've been preparing my comic since I came here" Evie sighed.
Jeffrey raised a brow, he wasn't expecting such a response. "Manuscript? or..."
"I had it drawn on my laptop" Evie said. "You can come over to check it if you want" she offered specifically looking at Jeffrey.
"Okay, I will and I'm bringing a critic along with me if he likes your comic then there is nothing to worry about" Jeffery said.
"Sure, I'll be expecting you" Evie smiled.
May watched the scene with wide eyes and smiled foolishly. Her thoughts were unknown.
