Valyria was ruled by three overlord houses namely Kasta (Blue), Almas (Diamond), and Hagyn (Hybrid). They were named for their dragons, House Kasta had the deadliest Blue Dragons that breathed the strongest flame, House Almas had Diamond Dragons that had diamond-like scales that made it impregnable even to dragon fire only blue dragon flames could damage it. House Hagyn were the first dragonlords as they excelled in blood magic and perfected the hybridization breeding of dragons to get the best hybrid dragons, they even once succeeded in breeding twin- headed dragons. House Kasta was held in the highest regard as unofficial Kings as they had the deadliest Blue Dragons as well as the secret to Valyrian Steel.
Apparently, Vlayrian Steel was thousand folded and rippled with carbon marks. It was forged with a technique similar to Damascus Steel forging, hence the similarly darkened blade with rippled patterns, except that Valyrian was forged by the dragonflame of Blue Dragons. The greatest source of power for those three houses was that only they had the fire mages who knew the spells to suppress the eruptions of the Fourteen
Flames, volcanos that surrounded Valyria. These houses' three ancestors were shepherds who first bonded with the Ancestral Dragons: Kasta, Almas, and Hagyn. They basically created Valyria. They used blood magic to bond and share their blood with the dragons, thus giving birth to a semi- human species called dragonlords, after bonding they gained fire immunity due to their dragons' magical blood.
In addition to these houses, there were many minor houses with thinner dragon blood and weaker dragon breeds, like House Targaryen and House Valeryon. Valyrians had no sigils or heraldic banners like the First Men and the Andals, yet they had a unified symbol of a Hybrid Blue-Eyed White Dragon breathing frozen fire through cross-breeding Kasta Dragons with Ice Dragons from the Shivering Sea. This dragon will basically signify the unification of the Three Ancestral Dragons or Three Overlord Houses. This symbol signified their dream of a unified Valyria. After years of domination, the three houses receded to the shadows and made the Valyrian Triarchy Federation into a Freehold to let the minor houses rule the trivial matters and leave the crucial tasks to the Three Houses.
They needed to stabilize the volcanoes that grew wilder and wilder due to excessive mining near them. They also had to strive to create the Dragon King to unite the three houses and bring unity and stability to the strife-infested Valyria. They had a Trinity Pact that when they create that Dragon, whoever manages to bond with it first shall be the Valyrian King. Their dreamers prophesied the definite coming of the Dragon King and its rider the Valyrian King. They also prophesied that no one Valyrian shall step into Westeros and make any deals with the Lions of the Rock. They prophesied that "gold from the Westerlands would destroy Valyria."
Yet, in their years of research, they ignored the outer world. The treacherous and ambitious House Targaryen took all their dragons, hatcheries, and eggs and migrated to Dragonstone after the Lannisters
commissioned Brightroar and they paid for it entirely in their native gold. It is said that they overpaid heavily, giving up so much gold for that Valyrian greatsword that they could have purchased an army with it. The Faceless Men originally slaves in the mines of Valyria were paid by the Targaryens with the Lannister gold to assassinate the fire mages maintaining the volcanoes.
The Faceless Men hated the dragonlords and loved gold so they accepted, assassinated, got their gold, and migrated to Braavos to build the House of Black and White. The Targaryens, imagining themselves to be the Kings of the newly built Valyria failed to do so as Essos deeply resented the dragonlords and reverted to their old ways before the Valyrian Conquest. They resisted them heavily and managed to stand against the weakened and lower numbered dragonlords of House Targaryen. They turned their sights to Westeros a hundred years later after they managed to recover their dragons and breed Balerion the Black Dread. They invaded Westeros and forged their long desired Kingdom.
The Three Houses of Valyria were trapped inside the peninsula and had no room to escape the erupting volcanos. They hid in this very room that Sirius is inside and took cover in its Vlayrian Steel walls for some time, till the Blue Lava probably burned them to ashes or suffocated them. They recorded in the final pages of the Grimoire that they finally finished their dream of perfect hybridization and breed the Dragon King Egg, alas they did not have the time to hatch the egg, all they had left was a couple of old mages who already bonded with their dragons, yet they died in peace as one of them had a dream at the exact time of the Doom, she predicted that a King of the Valyrians and The First Men will be born to bond with the dragon king and rebuild the glories of Valyria and fight the Longest Night to come.
The Valyrians believed in a balanced world like the Yin Yang. The Existence of Fire curbs the Cold and vice versa. For years the Fiery Veins in Valyria dominated and the Cold Veins in the Land Of All Winter diminished. Now with the Fiery Veins destroyed and the Fire Beasts, the Dragons almost extinct, the Longest Night ever shall come, the cold ones will grow stronger and march again as they did 8,000 years ago when the Fire Veins were weak and the dragons were not born yet.
The last page was titled Dragon King Binding Spell.
Sirius closed the book and heaved a long sigh of amazement after he read this lost book that entirely flipped his knowledge upside down. This knowledge was probably in the books to come that were not yet written at the time of his death and it cemented the idea that he was the King mentioned in the book. His mother most likely descended from one of these Three Houses, most probably House
Kasta, because of the blue eyes his maternal family had that was unlike most Valyrians with purple or violet eyes.
He read the Binding Spells and understood they are spells specific to each dragon inscribed in Blood over its egg right after the eggs are laid and are used later for the rider to coat these writing with his own blood and reciting the spells to hatch and bond the egg. Sometimes extra spiritual energy is needed to hatch the egg in the form of volcanic fire. That is why all the hatcheries in Valyria were in the Fourteen Flames
Sirius chanted the three spells in High Valyrian while coating the egg with his blood. As he recited his blood was used as ink to inscribe the words on the egg. He noticed the egg absorbing his blood as he kept chanting.
"Spirits sing of a powerful creature that rules over all that is mystic."
"The heavens twist and thunder roars, signaling the coming of this ancient creature, and the dawn of true power."
"The descent of this mighty creature shall be heralded by the burning winds and twisted land, and with the coming of this horror thosewho draw breath shall know the true meaning of eternal slumber."
He kept reciting louder as the egg started shining and drinking all his blood greedily.
Above Valyria, winds were shaking the mountains, storms and typhoons were raging, burned asunder by lightning bolts. Heart- shaking thunder roars are heard throughout the seas around Vlayria. Aboard Poseidon, the crew were shaking and almost attacked the captain to take them away from this doomed and cursed land, yet the terrifying look of Edric Stark, the Crown Prince's sworn shield, his grim-looking face, his massive battle-axe that looked like it is made to cut men apart, deterred them from seeking their death. Edric was barely keeping himself from sailing into The Smoking Sea, as Sirius was absent for a couple of days, and now these cataclysms were overtaxing his anxiety and fear over his liege.
Back in the underground cave, Sirius was deeply drained, yet he kept whispering the spells until just before he fainted, he heard a sound, a crack. He opened his eyes widely to see the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. Its kitten-sized body, with smooth hexagon scales of bluish white four limb.with harmless looking claws, white soft wings, long elegant neck adorned with a dazzling face with icy blue eyes staring at him. The dragon kept projecting a feeling of love and longing in his mind, it was a sort of Telepathic communication, with no words just feelings.
He hugged the dragon and he kept nudging its
head against his face fondly. Its eyes were
glued to his blue eyes. He understood from the Grimoire that his dragon is a forbidden- like existence that is the first of its kind. He had to hide it deeply till it grows up. Unfortunately, it has three times the lifespan of a normal dragon so it will take about 15 years for it to grow as big as the Drogon was when Daenerys invaded Westeros. Sirius was not really upset about this because he never considered having a dragon at least not before he plunders Drogon from Daenerys years from now according to his original plan, also he loved the dragon like she is his child. He now understood why Daenerys was so heartbroken when Viserion died.
He looked at the flag on the table. It was a white dragon on a blue banner. He thought grimly "Fucking Arryns, they will have to change their freaking banner." He took the banner and wrapped it around his daughter to leave the cave.
Sirius kept gazing at her eyes deeply, looked at her white body, slender neck, and blue eyes, smiled mischievously "I shall name you Kisara"
