Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Facing Insults

Yukari sat behind Yuki and kept calling him.

"Onii-san, raise your head. Onii-san! Onii-san!" Yukari later gave up.

She took out a bag of potatoes chips from her bag and opened it.

Sniff Sniff

Yuki's nose twitched, he removed his face from his palms and turned to face Yukari who was munching on the chips.

Yuki pointed at the chips in her hands. "Do you want to share?"

"Weren't you just ignoring me?" Yukari said while glaring at him. "Go get your own."

"Fine, I'll just ask from another girl." Yuki shrugged his shoulders and turned his face forward.

"Wait! Don't do that! Here you can have mine!" Yukari immediately handed the chips to Yuki.

The classes went by in a flash. Some guys would even approach Yukari and ask her on a date, but she turned them all down in harsh ways.

Yuki, Derek and Captain Sora were on their way to the office of the student council president. Sophia and Tamiko decided to take Yukari on a tour of the school.

Yuki, Derek and Captain Sora arrived at the office of the student council president, they were just about to knock on the door when they heard someone shouting behind them.

"Wait! Wait!" It was Tamiko, she was running towards them while waving her hand.

"No running in the halls." Captain Sora scolded.

Tamiko arrived infront of them.

"What is it?" Derek asked. "And where is Yukari-chan?"

"Yukari is still looking around with Uzushi-san." Tamiko said. "And I'm here because I want to also participate in the Strongest Student Tournament."

"Why the change of heart?" Captain Sora asked with a curious expression on her face.

"Because someone believes I can make my parents proud." Tamiko said with a look of determination on her face. "And I can't make that person and my parents proud just by sitting around."

Yuki smiled when he heard Tamiko's statement.

Knock Knock.

Captain Sora knocked on the door. The door opened and president Tsubaki stood on the other side.

"Oh, hello." President Tsubaki looked at the group infront of her. Her eyes landed on Yuki.

"Yuki-kun, how may I help you?" President Tsubaki asked in the most polite tone.

'Why does it feel like she is only talking to Yuki.' Derek and the girls all thought at the same time.

"Well, we want to participate in the Strongest Student Tournament." Derek answered.

"Is that so? Then come in." President Tsubaki led them into her office.

There was an office chair sitting behind a desk at the other end of the room, there were also three regular chairs place infront of the desk. On the right end of the room there was a couch.

"Please sit." President Tsubaki said.

Yuki sat on the couch while Derek, Captain Sora and Tamiko sat on the three chairs infront of president Tsubaki's desk. President Tsubaki proceeded to sit on the office chair, she really wanted Yuki to sit infront of her and not on the couch.

"So you all want to participate?" President Tsubaki asked.

"Yes." They all answers in unison.

"I'm glad, no one wanted to participate since they were all scared of losing." President Tsubaki said while running her finger through her green hair. "The tournament begins two months from now, I'll list all your names down. You guys just won't be fighting for yourselves but you will also be fighting for the school's reputation, it will help the school very much if you win. Many of the spectators watching are going to be big shots and they will most likely sponsor the school if you guys win."

"I will win! No one will be able to defeat us! I will make sure those spectators sponsor the school!" Yuki lifted his fist and declared.

"Big talk for the weakest royal." Derek said in a cold tone.

"Just wait, I'll get soo strong that you'll even acknowledge me as a more powerful being!" Yuki yelled.

"What you are saying is impossible." Derek said in a cold tone.

Yuki looked at president Tsubaki and asked. "Are there any requirements we need to be able to participate in the tournament?"

"You only need to be kizo users." President Tsubaki fixed her eyes on Yuki.

"Thank you, president Tsubaki." Yuki showed his gratitude.

"Don't worry about it." She smiled brightly at Yuki. "And I already told you not to call me president Tsubaki, just call me Seri-chan instead."

"Okay, Seri-chan." Yuki said.

"So we'll leave now." Tamiko said.

The group stood up and walked towards the door. President Tsubaki quickly stood up and grabbed Yuki's hand.

"Yuki-kun." President Tsubaki called for his attention.

"What is it?" Yuki asked, the entire group paused and watched Yuki and president Tsubaki.

"I haven't seen you in a while, are you okay? Have your wounds healed yet?" Her voice was filled with concern. "Remember that my kizo is healing, if you want I can have a healing session with you."

"Don't worry about it. I'm completely healed." Yuki said in a dismissive tone.

President Tsubaki suddenly hugged him tight and spoke softly. "I just don't want you to get hurt."

Yuki felt a sharp pain in his chest as President Tsubaki hugged him. She squeezed tighter and the pain Yuki felt increased.

The group was shocked by the sudden intimacy. Derek noticed Yuki's body posture change and his expression seemed like he was in pain.

President Tsubaki let go of him and stared into his dark blue eyes, her green eyes seemed to sparkle.

"Yuki." Tamiko called out to him. "Let's go." Her tone seemed like she was enraged.

The group left president Tsubaki's office, they were all walking in the hallway.

"Yuki, what's going on between you and president Tsubaki?" Tamiko suddenly asked.

"Nothing." Yuki said, he then contemplated for a while before speaking again. "Well, she did confess to me."

"Well, Yuki is cute and his eyes are amazing. Soo almost any girl would fall for him." Captain Sora commented.

"That doesn't mean she should just rush into a relationship." Tamiko also commented.

"What's wrong? Are you jealous?" Captain Sora teased.

"I don't like weak guys." Tamiko spoke.

Derek and Captain Sora looked at her with judging eyes, when Tamiko realized her mistake she covered her mouth with her palms.

She looked at Yuki whose expression didn't change even after hearing her statement. Yuki looked at Tamiko, her eyes were pleading with him.

"Yeah, no one likes weak guys." Yuki said with bright smile.

"Yuki." Tamiko couldn't say a word.

"Well, I'll see you guys tomorrow. I'm going home." He waved them goodbye and left the school. Tamiko, Derek and Captain Sora stood outside the school.

"Why did I say that infront of him?" Tamiko hated herself for what she had just done. "I didn't mean it. I do like weak guys, what am I gonna do now?" Tamiko burried her face in her palms. "He probably hates me."

Captain Sora placed her hand on Tamiko's shoulder and spoke. "He doesn't hate you, even after you just technically insulted him." Captain Sora said. "I mean, he thought of you as a good friend and yet you insulted him."

"You're not helping." Tamiko removed her face from her palms and spoke. "I need to apologize."

"Yeah, what you said was harsh." Derek said.

"What about you? You should also apologize, you called him the weakest royal." Tamiko said to Derek.

Meanwhile, Yuki was heading towards his apartment building. He went straight to his apartment and entered his room. He showered and then left the apartment. On his way outside he ran into Hana.

"Yuki, how are you doing?" She asked. She seemed happy to see him.
