This is C (or CG), one of the main writers for this book. I just wanted to pop in and hi. (and also do a quick author's note explaining a few important things about this book before the book starts).

Firstly, this book is going to be a little different from what we normally write at Oni-kun Studios. There will still be some fantasy elements (paranormal) and strong female leads (because who doesn't like that) but this book will kind of fall into the Mafia Romance 'genre' which will be quite a new route for Oni-kun.

Which leads to my second point - the Mafia Romance. It's not going to be a typical story (I know lots of authors say this but I'm being serious here). This book is going to use some old Mafia tropes (from crime and thriller books) and the romance is going to be slow and only start a bit later in the story.

The reason for this is that while I enjoy Mafia Romance, recently I've read quite a few that are kind of ruining the tropes for me.World-building also gets bad and the 'mafia' in the story looks more like a gang than an actual criminal organization that the mafia typically is.

So, this book is a little way for me to vent that frustration in a positive way I guess. That being said, this book does have a bit of mature content (I'm going to list them below) and is for 16+ audiences.
