Anna blinked. "I know but could you make an exception?"
Melina's spoke. "Hosting immortals means risks. Powerful guests, potential petty conflicts. I don't think I can deal with people like that here."
Silver interjected, "We understand. But we're prepared to pay handsomely for the accommodations."
At the mention of payment, Melina's eyes seemed to shimmer. "Cultivators... they do pay with gems, don't they?" She chuckled under her breath, the thought of potential profit shifting her mood. "Well, in that case... perhaps I could consider it. But I warn you, my prices will not be modest."
