"What makes you say this Dracool?" Jeffrey asked
"As a ruler, whenever you think, never think with your brain, think with your enemies' brain. The Mastars are just a small clan that were under us and then suddenly, they wage war? It's obvious they have someone working with them and come to think of it, we didn't find out they were waging war from a third party. They informed us theirselves. Why would they ever think of doing something like that if their plan wasn't full proof?" Dracool asked.
"You are right Dracool. Even if I defeat the Mastars, it's obvious there will be something bigger planned and perhaps they are planning that when I leave, they'll wage a bigger attack " he said
"Exactly! You have now spoken like the ruler you are" Dracool said and Jeffrey got up.
"But who will want to do a thing such as this? I must find out " Jeffrey said
"That's not the most important thing now Jeffrey " Dracool said
"What could be more important than this Dracool? There is a mole in my kingdom and I must find out who it is especially knowing fully well that they are trying to help someone who wants to take over my kingdom" Jeffrey said angrily.
"But it still doesn't make it the most important thing for you right now Jeffrey " Dracool said with a smile on his face before walking to Jeffrey. "As a king, there are many things you still need to learn, things like scale of preferences and how to control your anger. You can't let yourself get angry at the smallest provocations. It's not good for your kingdom and most importantly, it's not good for you " Dracool said and sighed.
"So tell me, what could be more important than this?" He asked
"Your mate " Dracool said and immediately he uttered the word " mate", Jeffrey's brows tightened and he looked at Dracool.
"Have you said this to annoy me Dracool?" He asked
"Of what gain would it be to me if I annoyed you?"
"How would I know? Please, no matter what happens, you shall not mention my mate because until I am mated to Gionna, I remain mate less " he said and crossed his arms
Dracool chuckled before going to meet Jeffrey. " when you were still little, what did you call me?" He asked with a relaxing smile
"We are speaking about something very important and you want to know what I used to call you over hundred years ago?" He asked
"That's what I said Jeffrey, you need to learn. Just answer the question, what did you call me?" Dracool asked again
Jeffrey sighed, no one could ever beat Dracool in an argument. " I used to call you the all knowing" he said and Dracool smiled.
"Exactly, if I am the all knowing then why do you fail to listen to me when I speak?" He asked
"Forgive me Dracool. Please continue " Jeffrey said
Dracool looked at him before continuing, " I get why you hate the witches and trust me, your hatred for them shouldn't end because you'll need it in the later future " he said. This time, Jeffrey didn't interrupt him, he listened. "Those pesty witches have gone around, announcing to every creature of Ariel that the supreme dragon lord has been mated to a human and don't think the Mastars will let this go because they will want to use your human mate against you, knowing fully well how it would weaken you when your mate is attacked" Dracool said.
"She could never have an effect on me when attacked. I hate her and as that, I would be very happy if she gets killed" he said
"Wrong. It will affect you terribly if you don't protect her Jeffrey. She is your mate and your souls are both connected and your victory in this war, is depending solely on her safety because you can rightly say that she is the leader of this war" Dracool said and Jeffrey immediately turned to him
"She is not the leader of this war Dracool. I am!"
Dracool chuckled softly, "She is not the direct leader of this war but since you're the leader of the war and she is your better half, she is also the leader of the war and should something happen to her, don't think you're off the hook because whether you like it or not, you have now being mated to her" Dracool said
Jeffrey went back to sit, " there is one thing I don't understand however Dracool " he said
"What is that? It pleases me to always have an answer to the master's question!" He said and bowed
"How was she able to see the egg and then eat it? The egg is supernatural and it can only be seen by supernatural beings and humans don't happen to be supernatural beings so do tell me, how did she see the egg and how did she not die after the supreme dragon lord resided in her?" Jeffrey asked
Dracool chuckled softly before going to put his hand on Jeffrey's shoulder. " I wish I could always give you an answer to your question when I have it but this time, I'm sorry but I won't be able to give you an answer to your question my lord" Dracool said
"Why is that?" Jeffrey asked
"Because, this could be a test for you. It could also lead to you finding out more about your human mate" he said
Jeffrey got up, "This is a question that I keep asking myself but if you won't answer it is fine. So tell me, how do I keep her safe so I don't end up losing the war? It's not like I want to but for the sake of Viola, I have to" Jeffrey said.
" I thought you'd never ask" Dracool said with a smile on his face.

"Good morning my princess" a maid greeted as she walked into the room where Gionna had been locked
"Can you tell me something?" Gionna asked softly
"Of course my princess" the maid said and bowed respectfully
Gionna stood from the bed with a smile and then went to shut the door. " can you tell me what is good about the morning?" She asked " tell me, what is good about being locked in a room and having annoying people like you walk into it?" Gionna asked angrily and the maid kept her face down.
"Forgive me my princess " the maid said humbly as she bowed her head
"Forgiveness is not enough I'm afraid. You have to do a lot more for the attournment of your sins you excuse of a dragon " Gionna said and walked to her cupboard
"This maid will do anything to attorn for her sin of annoying the dragon princess " the maid said and gulped. The fear of what the cost of her attournment scared her to the knees, especially when she had to pay attournment to Gionna.
Gionna threw a dress at her, " put this on and give me your outfit" she said and the maid stared at her shocked, was that all?
"Yes my princess " she said and both dragons switched dresses.
"Now help me style my hair to be like yours" Gionna said and the maid helped her style her hair. She looked at the dragon princess, she looked a lot like a maid, the only difference was that one look at her face and you would be able to tell the difference. A princess could never look exactly like a maid.

Jeffrey paced around his throne room, " what are you saying Dracool? I couldn't do this. I can't. You know very well how much I hate humans so how do you expect me to do this?" He asked
"To win a war, you have to be your enemy " Dracool said " I trust you Jeffrey and believe me you, it's only for the war" he said
"But how do you think I'll do? Will I succeed?"
"You're already charming enough. All you have to do is come as a friend to her and then make her trust you to the extent where she'll be willing to go anywhere with you and then, you can bring her to viola where she will be safe till the war is over " he said
Jeffrey sighed, " it's only for the war. Nothing else, no strings attached!"
Dracool gave a naughty smiled, " yeah, no strings attached "
