Chapter 8 - Chapter 8

The following day.

Muge greeted Father Ji and took a seat.

Father Ji inquired about Muge's work as a professor, and Muge responded, "Things are going well so far. The students are quite engaged, and I'm enjoying the subjects I'm teaching."

Father Ji smiled warmly, taking a sip of his coffee. "I'm pleased to hear that. Education is indeed a noble pursuit."

During their conversation, Hanyu descended the stairs and greeted his father.

After Hanyu sat down, he looked around and asked, "Where's Hansu?"

"He's in the kitchen cooking," Muge replied.

Hanyu acknowledged with an "oh."

Father Ji let out a sigh and commented, "I'll hire a cook and a cleaner so you boys don't exhaust yourselves while your mom is at work."

"No need," Hansu interjected, placing the food on the table.

The aroma of the dishes filled the room, enticing everyone. They all dug into their meal, enjoying the flavors Hansu had prepared.

"Hansu, when did you start cooking? The food you make keeps getting tastier every day," Hanyu remarked as he ate quickly.

"I followed the recipes from the cookbook." Hansu replied in a plain tone.

Hanyu stared at his brother for an extended moment before uttering "Would it be too much to ask for you to say something in a cheerful manner?"

Hansu nonchalantly turned his head and dryly replied, "Nahh. I don't want to be annoying as you."

Hanyu is rendered speechless by talking to his twin brother.

"Quit arguing," Father Ji said while looking at his two sons. "Hanyu, a friend of mine wants to offer you a movie role. His Brother is the director and his quite famous, I'll share his contact with you later. "

"Thanks, Dad," Hanyu replied with a joyful smile.

Father Ji grinned and remarked, "You two are 18 already, so I don't have to be concerned." He then turned to Hansu and inquired, "After graduating college, what are your plans? Will you join my business and help?"

"I'm still a freshman," Hansu responded, wiping his mouth. "I'll take the food to Nana and head out first."

Father sighed at his son's lack of interest and look at his remaining sons across the table.

"I'm heading to work," Muge said as he stood up.

"I'm going as well, Dad. The shoot I had yesterday got postponed, so I'm going to the set," Hanyu explained while rushing outside.

Father Ji helplessly watched his sons retreating figure without cleaning the table first, "I guess I should hire a maid." While looking at the empty plates.

At the hospital, Hansu was walking down the hallway when a voice called out to him, "Hey, sign your name here before heading upstairs," the lady across the counter said with a grin.

Hansu felt a goosebumps from the lady's gaze and signed the form. She continued, "Hey, are you a celebrity? You remind me of someone I saw on TV a little while ago."

"No I'm not" Hansu quickly replied, walking briskly into the elevator.

The woman unfortunately want to have a longer conversation with Hansu.

A nurse approached her while laughing and said, "You just frightened that kid"

The woman rolled her eyes and said, "Shut up!."

The nurse looked at the woman and remarked, "Stop hitting on Nurse Su's son, he looks underage, you look like a cougar."

"You!" The woman glared at her.

After the following incident downstairs, Hansu came into the room and set the food down on the table.

Hansu sat down and look at his little sister lying in the bed.

Suddenly the door opened.

Mother Su entered the room. Hansu and his mother looked at each other briefly before talking.

"You don't have classes today?" Mother Su asked

"No" hanyu replied.

The room went silent again.

Hansu stood up and said "I'm going to get a water"

Mother su looked at his son's departing figure and thought regrettably that she shouldn't have raised a hand to her son.

After hansu went back to the room mother su was already gone.

Nana woke up after some time and drank the soup.

Feeling her strength return, Nana's eyes met Hansu's, and she managed a weak smile. "Thank you for the soup," she whispered, her voice still a bit raspy from her illness.

Hansu nodded. "How are you?"

"Much better, thank you" Nana replied, smiling sweetly at her brother.

Nana sneakily glanced at her brother and whispered in guilt, "I'm so sorry, third brother. It's my fault that mom hit you."

Hansu's expression softened a little, and he shook his head. "It wasn't your fault. Mom's been under a lot of stress lately. We all know she didn't mean it."

Hansu then chuckled lightly and added, "Besides, I think I'll survive a little scolding. What matters is that you're feeling better now."

The third brother looks really good when he smiles, but unfortunately, he doesn't smile very often.

"You need to rest and recover quickly," Hansu remarked.

Nana nodded, lying down on the bed and closing her eyes, still feeling a bit weak.

The room had regained its tranquility, accompanied only by the soft sound of Hanyu's phone playing.
