Welcome to Southside 9, the best part of the United States, known as the Freak's Hub and for good reason. It's like mix between Atlantis, Transylvania, Area 51 and the Bermuda Triangle. A hot mess of everything nonsensical, illogical, supernatural and paranormal…sounds like paradise, does it not? Well that's Southside 9. The residents of Southside 9 are unlike anything you've ever seen, that much I can guarantee. It's more of a lucid dream you'd most likely have when your either drunk or high, rather than an actual place with actual residents. This place wasn't always here nor was it always the way it was. It wasn't until the Christmas slaughter that everything changed. Dasher became a god…of sorts after absorbing the pioneers of Christmas themselves, practically becoming the essence and idea of Christmas in general. Because of his new incredible power the government's best at Area 51 couldn't even dream to touch the reindeer, so many unnatural creatures on the run from Area 51 sided with him for protection. But even then it wasn't them that built Southside 9, instead they annoyed Dasher and followed him like a dog. The town's built started shortly after Disney Doris arrived, a teen followed by a Midnight Watcher, more commomly referred to as the monster from under the bed. Starting with crappy unstable huts of old used planks, they grew into a much more sophisticated shanty town. But it was Dasher and Disney that gave birth to Southside 9. To date, the government lacks the power and technology to attack Southside 9 whilst under Dasher's protection, but hasn't shown signs of neglecting the many abnormalities that gather in Southside 9. Apart from that, the amount of residents was growing with more and more "uneasy" fellows for the government to deal with. As it is, they would suffer too many casualties facing Disney alone. Therefore their no - interference rule which has been in effect for several years now. Despite the rule, the president still itches to know just what is happening at Southside 9. A person fond of keeping secrets from others, so restless because one is being kept from him. Ironic. Still beyond the influences of the government, Southside 9 is in a state of constant peace. Yes, it's always chaotic and loud, but that's because is filled with creeps and crawls, it is still fairly peaceful. Not many violent acts happen at Southside 9. Where it's Dasher's new responsibility to protect Southside 9, it is Disney that keeps the peace. Bloodsucking vampires, towering kaijus, galaxy-traveling extraterrestrials, famished chupacabras, ghastly yokai…each a law-abiding citizen of Southside 9. According to scientists at area 51, Southside 9 is a Hex. An anomaly, an event, person or place that deviates from the expected where everything is abnormal. They think of the universe as a code in a computer system and a Hex as a glitch in that very same code. According to them, these glitches are paradoxes that don't belong in the standard timeline. It's as unusual as an immortal having a blemish upon their body. What angers them even more is that according to their logic, Southside 9 consists of two more Hexes, namely Disney Doris and Dasher. Which further dives into the uncanny. The scientists argue that a Hex is a parasite to the universe, and if they do not remove it in time, the universe will do so itself. And having considered the size of the Hex, the universe may remove the entire continent or perhaps the entire planet in order to remove the Hex. The most terrifying aspect of a Hex is the fact that it grows stronger, worsening its already supposed effects on reality as the scientists claim. If it's a place, the area expands most likely. An event, the event gets grander and effects a larger area and group of people. And if it is a person, the person themselves, grows stronger. This theory was somewhat confirmed decades ago when an apocalypse starring Hell's best four horsemen almost came to pass. But now, Santa's fastest reindeer absorbed the power of 3 time-manipulating ghost and the power of practically 4 living magical nukes. Becoming so endlessly fast he can surpass linear time and is seen as the modern version of the Teumessian fox, an entity destined to never be caught. And with his absurd speed, who could blame them? During the Christmas slaughter, a being representing the exact opposite of Christmas, namely the Krampus, nearly ended Christmas by killing off the ghost of Christmas future, past, and present along with Santa, Ms Claus and his reindeer. Through pure luck, incredible luck, mathematically low calculated luck, a near plot armor-like type of luck Santa's fastest reindeer, Dasher, survived the massacre and absorbed the predecessors of Christmas. This eventually made Dasher so fast he could easily travel through time with an incalculable level of speed. Most likely higher than any finite number. Be it Rayo's number, Googolplexian or Graham's number. This meant Dasher can easily travel at infinitely large speeds. It was Dasher's uncanny luck to survive where many others have fallen, that lead the scientists to believe he was Hex. In Disney's case, she was cursed to forever see unfortunate events by a monstrous figure. These events are the untimely brutal deaths of those surrounding her, with the vision of their death appearing exactly 48 hours before it happens. But Disney doesn't stand idly by and and watch others die. She can alter the circumstances that form the setting for those events in the 48 hours before it happens using specific actions, specific choice of words and being at different places and specific times. Essentially altering the context the hard way in two days time. The scientists believe she's an all-in-one reversed version of the sisters of fate. The first sister, Clotho, spun the thread of human fate. The second sister, Lachesis, dispensed it. And at last the third sister, Atropos, cut the thread determining that person's time of death. The scientists believe that fate and time should be absolute and no ordinary human being can alter it. A simple "What's meant to happen will happen" philosophy. According to them, not because someone can see the future…can they change it. A statement that contradicts almost everything Disney has done upto this point. Which is why the scientists think her to be a Hex as well. You may believe the scientists theory to lack much but think of it as this, Disney is not the only child with a monster under her bed. Over 309 million children around the world suffer the same fate. Meaning that just as she, they also see the deaths of others 2 days ahead of time. But not a single one could undo it. When they didn't interfere they died like they were supposed to, when they do, it is their interference that kills them the exact same way they've seen. No matter what they did, the person they see dying, died. The exact same death, the exact same time, place, clothing. They could not undo what the Grim Reaper had written in stone. So why can she? Because she's a Hex! In conclusion, surpassing linear time and altering one's absolute fate seems like the workings of gods. But that was in the early stages when Southside 9 was only recently constructed. As I've stated before, Hexes grow. Southside 9 attracted more of the abnormal and grew into a small city over the years. Eventually even biblically accurate angels and highly advanced sophisticated AI gathered, making it a mixture of a paradise and a futuristic utopia along with the hot mess it already was. As per previously mentioned, the universe seeks to erase Hexes if they remain for too long, become too big or too powerful. The universe does this by creating Anti-Hexes, Hexes made with the main goal of erasing other Hexes and disappearing themselves afterwards. The Anti-Hex was an attack from Hell's forces, wanting the angel's supposed 'cargo', the lamb of Revelation bearing zeven horns and zeven eyes. The lamb is what kickstarted the apocalypse decades ago, luckily cut short by Area 51. Either way, Dasher succeeded in defeating the lower realm's forces' leader, Satan. A powerful lord of Hell known for his wrathful nature. Although Dasher was considerably faster, Satan's overall power and raw tenacity overwhelmed the haired idea of Christmas. The unholy lord could shake the chronosrealm with the shere pressure of his magical powers, the chronosrealm simply being another name for the 4th dimension where time itself exists. Yet Dasher could pull through and best Satan with the power of the ghosts of Christmas, altering his history to effects his present. Although an attack from Hell, rarely anyone died due to Disney's extreme measures she had taken beforehand, rewriting the fates of hundreds at a time. It was later on revealed that the lamb is also a Hex, on that creates other Hexes, though limited to only events rather than places and people. Similarly to how it created the apocalypse, it can create many more Hex events and as the angels stated, even Anti-Hexes. This truth revealed the true nature of Southside 9, a Hex that attracts other Hexes to its location. One would expect Southside 9 in a eon of peace, taken into consideration they are beyond Area 51's ability to handle. But where the universe's first Anti-Hex failed followed a second. And a third, and a fourth. Years past Southside 9 survived a total of one hundred and thirteen Hexes. Each more powerful than the last, witch the last being the utmost of the universe's available powers. Not to be mislead as a victory, the universe is a stubborn bastard. If no event from inside the universe could end Southside 9, one from beyond would suffice. The universe followed this ill advise and created an Anti-Hex which brought the Tyraniasapiens. Behold, regarded as a type 5 civilization in the Kardashev scale, they are capable of inter-dimensional travel beyond many other things. They are, unironically, GODS. To no surprise, the Tyraniasapiens with little to no effort pushed back the strongest in Southside 9, forcing them to retreat. As stated by the scientists at Area 51 after the captivity of Earth and its corresponding universe, the Tyraniasapiens have access to the energies of every universe shown to them by the infinite multiverse from an infinitely broad expanding timeline, and as such possess the abnormalities of an infinite amount of Hexes. The Tyraniasapiens wasted no time upon arrival and captured the universe in brutal fashion, erasing all lifeforms that stood in their way. Disney, Dasher and the lamb were forced to retreat to a realm the Tyraniasapiens had yet to conquer. The lamb knew traveling to an alternate universe would bear no fruit, believing nearly every universe in the infinitely large multi-universal structure to be captured. With their power and technology, traveling throughout the branches of time was also within their reaches of capabilities. The three had to accumulate more power than ever to travel to the 5th dimension. There the three met with an odd person wearing a brown coat and a hat covering his face in a pitch black shadow. He revealed himself as the man without identity, who is mistaken as a Hex at first by the trio. The man without identity offered to help them by bringing them in front of the Quasar, a 5th dimensional supercomputer in the shape of a cow. The Quasar could install, delete and reinstall code. This 'code' being the very essence of the 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st dimension. The Quasar offered to lend a helping hand, but in doing so would need the lives of all three after the dispute is settled. Unsurprisingly, they've refused its offer…all but one. Disney, feeling as if she lacks power and desperately hoped to save her universe, Southside 9 included, offered herself to the Quasar. Dasher and the lamb strongly recommend her not to pull through, but we're held back by the Quasar's downloaded physical information, the 5th dimensional entity known as the man without identity. The man without identity possessed power greater than even Satan and made light work of Dasher and the lamb. The lamb was left with but a single option, to create another Hex event that would not only strengthen, but maximize Dasher's power and potential. Having him unlock the powers of all the other predecessors aside from the ghosts. With the power of the ghosts he already possessed, he could alter a person's or object's history to effect their present self or alter their present to effect their future. With Santa's absurdity of a magic power he could do things as long as he believed it strongly. The ferocious power to erase the idea or concept of something as long as he can physically destroy all traces of it, originated from the Krampus' brutal nature. Lastly he could charm anyone weaker or not stronger than himself to choose a peaceful alternative, avoiding battle entirely, taken from the peaceful Ms Claus. The new array of skills and magic overwhelmed Dasher with power. He arose victorious after his beliefs made him overpower a 5th dimensional entity, after which he erased all traces from the man without identity using Krampus' power. Although a victory, it was surely close to a hollow one as the unnatural amount of magic power overwhelmed Dasher and nearly killed him. A reindeer's antlers act as an antenna, allowing them to navigate and control the magic in their bodies. For one, reindeer are not meant to have that much magic accumulated within their body, a near bottomless pit of energy. And following, Dasher's left antler was broken off in his first confrontation with the Krampus. The lamb wasn't able to help, as he was unconscious after an excessive overuse of his powers. Luckily Disney arrived just in the nick of time to help Dasher. Unbeknownst to the Quasar, Disney can deny her fate even when determined by a god. Like the time she decided not to fall in love with Arthur, a boy assigned to her by Cupid via his red string. Or the time she re-determined her own death, sealed by the sisters of fate via their cut string. Or the time she escaped from the Laelaps, a hound destined to catch whatsoever it hunted. Disney, with her cunning knew why the Quasar wanted them. They are Hexes, anomalies. Viruses to the Quasar's perfect codes, unprotected by anti-viruses. The Quasar, no different from the universe, is fully logical and loathes the illogical. It was never going to help them, it wanted to kill them. Disney with her Midnight Watcher at her side, leaped into the cow-shaped body of the Quasar and landed into that Quasar's own code. A a pocket-dimension of actual information, finite but unimaginably large. Disney then rendered the Quasar to a near useless state by falsifying all of its information. It's codes could no longer effect anything within the 5 dimension that is of truthful nature…basically nothing that is real. The codes only altered the untruthful and false, such as fantasies and fiction that have no effect on reality. The 5th dimensional supercomputer was reduced to a small calf trapped inside a transparent marble. After the hard-fought battle, Disney had to undo what the lamb had done by reversing Dasher's fate, stripping him from his powers. The three nearly died in the 5th dimension, and yet haven gotten any more powerful. Still, unbeknownst by the trio, the Quasar wasn't a computer that just popped itself into existence. It was created by the Tyraniasapiens, who were as of shortly after, informed of what had transpired. Days past, the trio still seek the power beyond the Tyraniasapiens reach. As Dasher already knows, even with his antler back, the magic will simply be far too much to handle. The lamb, as of recently came to the realization that he is also limited to not create Hexes infinitely as an overuse of power can knock him out. Disney isn't quite sure just how she'll get stronger. The Quasar was the greatest foe she had encountered and wasn't even sure she could defeat her in the first place, but was created by the Tyraniasapiens. No different from how humans mass produce cars and televisions. The trio quickly realized how outclassed they were in more categories than one. Be it power, intelligence or even resources. Dasher, haunted by mixed feelings of anger and grief, hates himself for being a living concept yet hardly capable of anything. Disney tries to calm him and warns him for possible Tyraniasapiens on their way to collect their corpses. Whilst the part of three struggled in the 5th dimension, a forgotten friend from Dasher's distant past struggled far less in one of the many realms for the dead. Clementine Ghostwood as she was called, was burdened to lay waste to the Aztec god of the dead, Mictlantecuhtli. The god formerly praised by a culture that has become a much lesser version of what it once was, demanded an explanation from the mortal Clementine as to why she intruded his realm. With a smirk hiding her true actions, she simply drew her sword, a curved single-edged blade native from a distant culture, a katana. With speeds overwhelming and power unrivaled she dashed towards the immortal skull-faced god after which the two engaged in a fierce battle. Blow after blow, swing after swing, the two faced off in a lengthy battle. The Aztec god, Mictlantecuhtli, as old and weakend as he became due to his lack of worshippers, quickly fell victim to this. His loss of stamina and breath gave Clementine the edge which led to her victory. In an near instance she sliced of his arm and stabbed the weakend god in his heart, had he one. Mictlantecuhtli fell to his knees in a pool of his own blood whilst Clementine invoked the name " Gan'hapbtu'youul ". From the shadows of Mictlantecuhtli's realm arose a creature of unholy sight. A tall snowing pale figure, towering at an uncanny nine and a half feet. A humanoid upper body attached to a serpent like under half with a broad face bearing no eyes and three monstrous mouths. On its back a set of twelve piss-colored eyes and four dirt stained claws on each supposed hand. The creature devoured the god in an uncultured manner, no different from a beast and disappeared as sudden as it appeared. Shortly after, Clementine left Mictlantecuhtli's realm and arose back on Earth, hoping to see it in all its glory from having missed its sunny skies in Mictlantecuhtli's dark realm. Instead, she arrived to meet a planet subjugated by an advanced alien species. Unsure of the situations that had previously transpired, Clementine asked for answers from the locals, most of which fearfully in their homes. As the hours past an alarming sound deafened the city after which all its residents quickly ran and stood nervously in lines. Cautiously Clementine hid behind walls of a nearby building and saw three towering robots marching the city streets. She attacked not having heard the tales she had previously asked the locals. The robots had been on Earth for several weeks and effortlessly wiped out all military forces. Since the robots still stand the likelihood of Area 51 having failed is fifty-fifty. She grabbed her cellphone and dialed a number hastily, but whomever she was calling was either out of service or the device was deactivated. Unable to reach the person at the other end Clementine was under the suspicion that something may have happened to them and rushed out of hiding, beyond the robot's sights. As she did such Disney, Dasher and the lamb arrived at G'nar, a majestic golden city of marvels and wonderful sights. The trio had reluctantly as a group to remain at the city, given the chance they might see or come to know of something important. They nervously approached the shimmering city, eyes widened by its glory. Entering the city of G'nar did not undo the uncertainties jn their hearts and Dasher was first to have questioned the lamb for the reason they remain in the 5th dimension if they've come to learn it is already under the Tyraniasapiens' authority. As the lamb of Revelation suggested, they search the city for someone willing to help them rather than give up so easily. No need to say, Dasher was against the idea ad he believed they could be data composed by the Quasars or perhaps the Quasars themselves, risking all their lifes in doing so. The two engaged in a heated discussion on wether they should stay or not, but were silenced when Disney fainted and fell to the ground. Dasher and the lamb both could survive several days without food or water, but for Disney as an ordinary human, that was unlikely. The two quickly forgot about the argument and raced to aid Disney. Whilst doing so the two are shocked by the Midnight Watcher suddenly speaking, calling them fools for not thinking she would faint after she hadn't eaten for days. The speech came as a surprise to the two, both knowing well that the monsters from under a child's bed are incapable of speech. Suddenly it's body molded into strange indescribable shapes and was revealed to be a the pink colored Cheshire cat. One of the greatest misfits with only Anansi and Loki to best him.
