Salty scent of sea with a hint of pineapple assaulted his nostrils breaking his chain of thoughts and bringing him back from deep soul wrenching memories.
He furrowed his eyebrows Slightly, Wondering where he had smelled that scent before. It seemed foreign yet so familiar to him. He looked around trying to locate the source of the sent when the wind blew slightly towards his direction and his head instinctively turned to his left.
Just outside a Small diner a hooded figure stood, lackadaisical, with only a smirk adorning thin moist lips.
He was about turning around when those lips moved slightly and it felt like they gave the command to come closer, pulling and trapping him in a trancelike state.
''Vas are you even listening to me?''
''Huh?''
'' I asked if you were interested in brunch after we're done with what we came to show or rather give you''
''Yeah, brunch sounds good. I've been craving for Thai beef noodle soup.''
'' it's settled then. Brunch right after he yells at us, what a great idea!''
'' Why would I yell at you guys? Or is there something you're not telling me about? Are you planning to marry me off to one of your business partners son? I Already told you guys, I don't need an Alpha. I'm highly contented with my life right now.''
'' we know and we highly respect your decision but that isn't why we brought you down to the office and I know you really don't like business affiliated topics and all that too so I am apologizing ahead, WE'RE apologizing ahead but we honestly feel that this is the best decision we have ever made''
'' fine, alright, lead the way so we can get this over with. You guys are starting to creep me out''
"That's probably my mates fault" Luna Cora said with a nervous chuckle.
"It can't be me, I'm too charming to creep people out!" Her mate replied and wiggled his eye brows
"You know, Sometimes, I wonder how I got paired with a man who has a man-crush on himself"
"The goddess works wonders, my dear"

The Luna and her mate walk ahead of Vasili into the office building and he just chuckles at the couple.

Turning my head back to where the hooded figure stood, I couldn't find anyone there anymore. Just a group of high schoolers exiting the diner.
'Maybe I imagined it'
After making sure the car was properly locked, I put my phone in my pocket and walk over to the office building.
The security guard greeted me with a nod of his head, which I returned. I only had a foot in the doorway when I felt something soft and warm on my neck and a pat on my ass. 'What the hell?'
"Viktor did you see anyone here just a second ago?" I turned around to ask viktor the security guard. I know for a fact it wasn't him because his post is about ten feet from where I am and I would've caught him.
"No sir, I didn't see anyone, is everything okay?"
"Yeah, never mind, I'll head up now"
'What was that? Eros, did you feel that?'
'Yeah, I definitely know we didn't imagine that' if Eros, my wolf, felt it too then that means I didn't imagine it, but who did it?
Throwing it to the back of my mind would be best' I thought to myself before walking to the elevator and pushing the button for top floor. Getting off at the 32nd floor, I greeted the female receptionist at the front desk.
A message popped up on my phone and I paused by the door of the CEO's office to reply to it and pushed it open to find Luna Cora and former Alpha Carlos sucking their faces off with his right hand buried under her Jean skirt and his left on her throat.
"Can you guys not do that when you know you're not alone? It didn't even take 10 minutes for me to get up here from the parking lot!" They jumped apart when they heard my voice.
"Ugh, Vas. I...Ugh..we didn't hear you coming, sorry" Luna Cora said trying to hide her scarlet face from me.
"We did nothing wrong. At least our sex life isn't dry like someone else here" Alpha Carlos said before shoving his moist fingers in his mouth. Yuck!
'Remind me not to take anything he offers until he washes his hands' I said to my wolf.
"Have a seat Vas, lets get this over with"
