Wh-what? has my body grown smaller...? I looked at my tiny hands...No it seems more like i got younger....but...what happened??

Ahh..i remember! Fragments of memories rushed into Sung Hyeon's head.

Everyone has died...why am i the only one alive...?

How are we supposed to deal with it? The never ending gates that were not cleared got overflowed by monsters and burst out.

We tried our best to survive and clear all the mess, but at last there was a limit to how much 4 people can accomplish.

The last monster-exterminating squad and the last of humanity's hope. We barely defeated the herd of zombies and now this...?.

(Dragons) The most superior race among the monsters with their advanced magic and sturdy bodies were known as the rulers of sky and the land.

They were an arrogant and ancient species which sought humans lower than pests killing them indiscriminately just for their entertainment.

Dragons were categorized into 3 types according to the level of threats they possessed;

1.Young Dragons (Threat level B+)

2.The Elders(Threat level A+)

3.The Rulers(Dragons which lived more than 5000 years)(Threat level S-SSS)

Leader...!LEADER!!! Seo Yeon's eyes had a trace of fear but her face was as fearless as ever. "Come-on..Don't tell me after all these years of fights you are still scared of dying?!" Yeon spoke looking at my expression.

I smiled "Of Course Not"

Leader!! What's the order? Chin Hae and Min Jun shouted from the rear. Looking at everyone's face glamouring with trust and those fearless eyes, i clenched my teeths holding my weapon with a tight grip and ordered, "Everyone in positions!" (for the final battle).

But as expected it was not enough.

Soon after engaging in the battle we were out of power and even so that mighty defense and its advanced magic stood strong as ever regardless of how much mana and stamina we spent and regardless of the high-tired spells and magic we used. At last at the end of our breath when we could not muster any strength to fight and

could barely protect ourselves the dragon soared to the sky and used one of it's ultimate ability "Dragon's Breath".

At the final moments when the dragons flame rushed towards us burning every existence on its way Seo Yeon looked at me with a smile. "It was fun working with you leader"

her last words before casting her highest-tired defense magic using all of her remaining life force, Chin Hae used his shield (Ability-Heavenly Shield) and Min Jun with his bare giant like body activated his ability "Unsurmountable Wall" to stop the draconic flames. But...It was barely enough...and as a result everyone was wiped out.

No...more like everything was vaporized not leaving an ounce of existence on it's way. Now only i remain!! Hahaha...what a cruel fate why did it happen what crimes did we commit!.

Not that it matters now i guess...Lets end this...for once and for all... i will at least take you with me...i took out the spear from my dimensional pouch and rushed towards it.

That's the last thing i remember!

Hah...Soo?!! Am i dead? I guess i wasn't able to kill it at last! Not like i didn't expect it to happen. Is this the afterlife?...

I don't see anyone else!!. But...why does this room looks familiar? this bed...these bed sheets the poster of the mangas i loved in the wall.

Doesn't this looks like my room when i was young??

I took the mirror lying on the table next to my bed and looked at my face...it really is me!?

This looks....when i was 12? Hahh..people say you remember your past days in your last moments...this must be it.....anyways i'm too tired to deal with all this let me sleep!

I pulled the blanket up and covered my face trying to fall asleep.

"Hyeon! Sung Hyeon!! Wake Up It's time for your school! How long are you planning to sleep?!"

A familiar sound from the downstairs.

Ahhhh... Just let me sleep now!! I'm too tired! Do I still have to wake up and work like crazy even after my death i cried.

Suddenly someone smacked on my head. "What nonsense are you sprouting brat Wake Up!! I'm getting late for my work because of you".

What?? What is this??

Why am i getting beaten even in my dreams? And...and why am i feeling pain? Come to think of it that voice felt familiar...and what did she say...school?

I woke up from my bed rubbing my eyes opening it slowly a familiar figure was standing next to my bed! And she seemed to be in a angry mood?? What!? Hayan Noona!!

wh-why no! How are you here? Did you come to visit me in my afterlife?.

Bam!! I got yet smacked in my head once again. Ouch! Why are you hitting me Noona?

I asked in a surprise and little pain. Are you awake now? Brat!! What nonsense were you sprouting? death, afterlife!? Well now it seems like you are awake, get ready for school, i'm getting late i need to goto work after sending you school. Now get ready fast and come down to eat in 5 minutes!

She looked at me with a glare and left the room. What? What is happening? i remember my sister used to goto work after leaving me to school during my childhood but.... Wait? Am i not dead? What is happening?

Am i really back in the past? Did i regress? I took my mobile phone lying on the table next to my bed and looked at the date. 2930 July 3rd. I suddenly felt overcome with joy and curiosity...i really did return.

Haha looks like all those efforts in my past.../future? were not in vain! i'm finally rewarded for my efforts

i was so overjoyed i unintentionally shouted my thoughts loud.

Looks like you need more punishment brat! Still not coming down? My sister shouted from the kitchen.

I hurried up changed my clothes and rushed down to the kitchen to have my breakfast. In these brief moments Sung Hyeon made a promise in his head. This time i will be strong! I will protect my loved once and noone will die needlessly! This time...definitely!

I headed down to the kitchen after sorting out all the thoughts when i saw noona i suddenly went in a trance and...what why are these tears...why am i crying?.

When the world was suddenly plunged to chaos and monsters came pouring out of the gates no one was prepared for what was going to happen. I remember that day clearly, noona and i were returning back home.

Ding! noona's mobile rang as she got a message.

" The Country Has Entered A State Of Emergency!.

Unknown Monsters have appeared all over the city please seek for the nearest fall out center!".

Before we could react the sirens went all over the city maybe all over the country and screams of people were to be heard everywhere. "Monsters...Ahh Help Someone...Runaway". I was afraid, i stuck up close to noona. Noona looked at me and said to me patting at my head in a low voice "Don't worry! Noona will protect you. Just don't look back and run".

Noona grasped my hands tightly and ran towards the nearest shelter. The roads..were filled with blood and bodies, half of their parts torn and cut away or crushed  house were burning and the skyscrapers were falling.

I could see creatures flying all over the sky and the ground was shaking as if it were an earthquake.

As we took a turn noona suddenly stopped running and stood still, i who was out of breath took some time to catch my breath and slowly looked ahead to see a pack of goblins playing with the heads and parts of dead bodies they killed

as if a child were playing with a toy.

I almost screamed at that traumataizing sight but noona suddenly closed my mouth with her hands and hugged me tight... Tears fell from my eyes at the gruesome sight.

She quickly pulled me and took us to the corner out of those goblins sight slowly backing out and when it almost felt we were out of that place a large green figure was standing right ahead us in the end of the road carrying a big wooden log splattered with blood all over it. It was an orc! My legs suddenly froze looking at the giant, i looked towards my sister but there was no place left to run away escaping from it as it covered the way.

As the giant orc swung the log noona looked at me and told remember what i told you! "Don't look back and run away" she threw me at the leeway and attracted the orcs attention while i ran away in tears.

I suddenly walked ahead and hugged noona tightly! "I will protect you this time i won't run away! tears falling from my eyes.

"What happened brat? Did you have a bad dream? Don't worry noona is here! I will protect you!" She said while gently patting at my head. No Noona! This time...i will protect you! I promise!
