There exists a world that exists apart from our own, call ot a world beyond world's if you must. this world has existed alongside the human race without us even being aware of it, a world of magic and conquest.

The ancients had some awareness of this world but knowledge of it has long since been lost ever since the dark ages. The truth is that this world is a threat to mankind. The ones who lie above it are called the apex species and they dominate all and everything around them. They answer to noone not the world governments and certainly not even the church. Their powers are mysterious and far exceed that of what hinges on common sense.

Like a force of nature, they cannot be reasoned with nor bargained with and they will do all that is necessary to stay at the top of the world even wiping out half of mankind if they have to. However the truth is that they can never do that. They need mankind, particularly its blood and daughters in order to continue their dominance over the world.
