meeting with the board
"You miss me so much that you can't wait for me to get back" Seeing Sia with Ruth, I decided to try what I thought about a few moments ago. I saw her lip switch with a frown while Ruth blushed.
"Sir, don't forget there is a meeting today with the board of directors by 4 p.m., about our entertainment industry," I spoke up.
"you, haven't gotten a partner, yet?" she asked me as she sat down and crossed her legs."
"They refused to partner with us" was all I said
"Didn't, you put enough effort. cause I know nobody can say no to you"
"Don't falter me ma, Someone once said no to me, in the worst way" I said as I stared into his eye
"I would like to join the meeting" she immediately cut me off knowing where I was heading
"In that case let me call the board so we can start the meeting now."
After making a few calls. I walked into the office and told them the meeting would start in 15 minutes.
William and Ruth walked into the meeting room and our discussion started.
After reading the minutes of our last meeting, we talked about some other things in our agenda then, later on, we went to our main agenda of the day.
"Mr. Williams why not close down the entertainment company for now maybe in two years we open it again," said one of our board member
"No, that is out of the options" He ruled out that idea immediately
"How about we try another company".Ruth suggested
"Madam, trying another company should be out of our options we have already been regretted by 7 companies. If this news spreads, it's bad for business" Raymond said
"Yes, Mrs William no one would want to partner with a company like us. I suggested last time that we should go for a smaller company". I spoke up
"Like," she asked me
"Baby's.. they are small but worth it. They have all we need, as for artists they can help us with some, we buy some and we can scout for more".
"How do we scout" Miss High-speed ask
"We can start a program. youth will surely join and we get the best and use them."
"That's a very good idea, we could also boost our company and other product, great"
"No, I don't like it" Ruth's voice echoed What do you want," I asked her leaving out Ruth or Mrs. Williams
"Like go for a partner with another company"
"Which company do you have in mind" Mr. Romon asked her
"powers"
"Hah hah, do you think they will agree? Miss Ruth, we have been trying to get them to partner with us for years now.
They are the number one company in the world while we are among the top in New York City, can the Williams group of companies comfortably let go of 100 billion dollars without becoming bankrupt? Business isn't for women" he smiled
"Does that include me, Mr. Romon?" I ask him
"I didn't mean it that way madam Sia" he apologise immediately
"You should show some respect, Mr. William is here and you all are looking down at her like that. Miss Elemi spoke up
"Sorry, Miss Ruth".
"I understand..."
"Since my wife wants us to try powers let's do that"
"How" Mr. Romon asked
"Don't tell me your age is now affecting you" Yes, one of the traits Sia got from William. bad mouth in a very cold way.
"Sia".
"sir"
"Fix a meeting with powers, try anything"
"Yes sir"
"How about I handle everything, I would like to prove to Mr. Romonn that a young married woman like me is good for business"
"alright"
"Meeting adjourns"
"Mr. Romon, how is your baby" I asked him
"She's fine".
" say hi to your wife and children for me, I will come with the kids one of these days for visiting"
"Sure"
At the Williams residence.
since I came back home. Mom and I have been on good terms which wasn't okay for me. Me and Ruth ate out and came back late.
I walk into my mother's room.
'What are you doing" she asked me, Mom does like people barging in on her but at this very moment, I had no choice cause I knew very well she would let me in.
"Mom, am your only son yet you can be this mad at me".
"leave"
"am sorry for the way I spoke to you".
"How long did it take you to apologize, I was trying to help you but you disrespected me instead.
" am sorry Mom"
"By the way, your sister is coming back,"
"Is she going to live here with us"
"Of course, Where else do you want her to stay"
