I stomped up the stairs of the packhouse, heading for my office. /"Wait, I need to tell you something before you go in,/" Lucas murmured. I stopped at the top of the stairs and turned to him. He didn't speak, he just stood there staring at me. /"Well?/" I questioned. He's stalling and the longer he does, it's the longer Amaris is left with them.
/"The Dark Wolf... It's Alex./" He whispered. I furrowed my brows at him, /"I'm sorry, I thought you just said the Dark Wolf is Alex./" I chuckled. He gaped at me and didn't say anything. /"You're being serious, aren't you?/" I gasped. He nodded his head, I didn't wait for him to say anything. I twisted and bounded down the hallway to my office.
