Alex sat in one of the castle rooms or exactly the office where the duke sat in front of him and next was Yarindus along with other important ministers
"This is the plan and foundation to create an empire that I wanted in this world and maybe an unstoppable army to expand my lands but not now i just want to read and explore" As he finished speaking Yarindus came in and spoke as a large backpack is behind him
"Bossman we're ready to leave" he spoke with a slight smile
"Wow calling me boss man oh well where's our destination travel guide"
"We are heading to the to a place called the storms eye and it said to be believed that it has a weapon placed that can control the demonic legion that is surrounding the place"

"And why would I need It I have a powerful army on the other side of the world"
Yarindus sighed and agreed to take that sword demon kings on kings will hunt to take the sword
Soon they departed towards the storm's eye and although it took a few weeks since they traveled non-stop they arrived and just at the distance, it was already large.

Alex and Yarindus stopped at a local town near the storm's eye and there were multiple armed demons and when they entered a restaurant it was pure chaos
Alex Pov
The time I entered a restaurant a chair was a few seconds away from my face but luckily I pick up my friend and use him as a shield and after the chair smashed towards his body I looked over and saw a small arena where two demons clashed there weapons while the others cheer and boo them and to the other side a rugby was happening but luckily i slither my way to a free table and a waiter came in and took me and yarindus order and when axe came swinging at them i just slap it off the direction and seeing the chaos won't die down i just waited for the food to arrive
And it came after the food was placed down and snap my finger and a small barrier covered the table and i spoke to him
"Why are there a lot of warriors coming here"
Yarindus just shrugged and spoke
"Well since the sword in the middle of storms eyes many powerful people wants to get it but for the demon kings they signed an agreement that they will not interfere since it will cause chaos and the last part is were they will kill or i dont know that part of the agreement was never shown to the public"
Alex nodded and decided to see the trials for himself
For a while they ate and Alex went wandering around the town and found a book shop were he entered he was met with a hunchback of a demon as he spoke
"I see a knowledge seeker please enjoy yourself but remember you gotta pay for the seat and food"
Alex just nodded and took a few coins out and ordered some light refreshments and when i pulled out one book as i read the title 'Legend of the heavenly Demonic Emperor'
Alex flip the page and saw a picture of a rob emperor with his crown and his black sword aiming downwards and when Alex saw this he just grinned and flips the page and begin reading
1 hour has gone by and he was only halfway to the book and read that he unified half of the demonic realm and had multiple competent demonic kings and after his death he dismantled his empire and buried his palace and in top of the sword and those who are worthy shall pick up the sword and not any kind of worthy they must go through the hellish training and survive
Alex place the book down and got to another one and this time its about the legions of Chaos book were the heavenly Demonic Emperor have over 100 legions and they specialize on different things but he just read some and saw something interesting
'Oh so this guy is quite smart that he disband some of his legions when he was about to perish'
Alex place the book down and decided to head back and snooze

Alex and yarindus head towards the storm's eye and when they were a few km away alex saw in the distance multiple people being burned away and the closer they get the hotter it gets and the more gravity it punches you to the ground alex just look at this and he analyze the area and found a route to enter were the gravity is normal
Alex turned his head and saw a military camp with banner of a kingdom he doesn't know
"What nation are they from" i asked yarindus
"Well there the first Legion of the demonic emperor they have been here to protect the person that is said to be the true weilder and they will swear there allegiance"
"All right i will test it myself but when im about to touch the blade im gonna leave it"
Alex got off the horse and approach storms eye and when he passed the border line he felt some changes and felt his body go down a bit and h felt warmer and after one step he felt his body became very heavy but he didn't mind he begin moving forward and felt all the weight still coming but he still continued to move forward
The demons looked shock as they were crawling on to the ground and saw Alex keep moving but Right now Alex can feel his powers clashing inside its like they want to break away from this shell and yet Alex held and controlled his powers that want to burst

Soon blood came out of his mouth Alex and he just wipe it off the back of his hand and thanks to the anti matter armor he is using it alleviates the gravity and as he marches through the 10km distance alex saw pancakes fresh dead bodies and some powdered bones and then Alex begin to sprint and the more the gravity tired to stop him and alex arrived at the sword
"So this is the famed sword oh well just one touch and i leave" Alex stretch a finger out and when he was about to touch the hilt of the sword black shadow ropes came out and wrap around alex hand pulling him to the sword and when Alex resisted it it still force him to grab the sword
'Accept my power and title' Alex heard a voice in his mind
'Like hell i want that i have the power already'
'You will still need more'
Before Alex could respond back he touch the sword and soon his eyes went black and when he look around he saw flat lands and on him his right hand he saw the blade and soon he heard
"So you will be my successor?" A voice of an battle hardened soldier was heard
Alex cocked his head to the source and saw a man with black armor and another cop of the sword on his hand
"So what is the purpose to bring me here?"
"To train you and give you experience because i shall pass you my power and techniques but be weary my powers are unstable so after defeating me i shall give an artifact that can control this powers but prove to me your worthy and you shall the greatest power in the demonic realm!"
Alex drew his sword and check all of his gear his there so he decided to fight him with everything he got

As both powers collide it caused some damage in both sides and Alex didnt mind it since he can fight with no restraints and decided to use everything
Their blades clashed and with their speed only after images can be seen and Alex noticed every time he cut off a limb from that man shadow arms appear and reconnect back
Soon Ale raised his hand and black lightning begin to gather and Alex pointed at the man and soon a large explosion akin to thermonuclear bomb
And soon the sword in Alex hand also enjoyed the chaos and the same technique hes gonna use against that damned athena will aimed at him
Alex unleashed everything and the entire dimension begin to tremble

Soon a red Dragon shadow appear behind Alex and roared with him
"Amazing he even has the power of the Dragons with him even he dosent knowledge of it!" The demon emperor was excited soon he begin to unleash everything and seeing that his powers cannot compare but atleast his skill is equal
Soon Alex sped up and his powers begin to take shape of a dragon
"Dragon Emperor Supreme Flight destructor" he shouted and those words he realized has no knowledge
Soon as he reached 5 feeat from him a large black barrier formed and it was not enough then more barriers and more being shattered like cutting sand and when he reach the demon emperor the man meet with his sword
CRACK BOOM
The sword in his hand broke not taking in the stress that was placed and alex stopped his attack behind him and the sword in his hand also broke due to how much power he has store
"Damn it broke seems like he cant handle my powers what a bummer" Alex sighed and threw the broke sword to the ground
"Hahahaha you got quite the power last time i felt that was the time i went to war in the unknown lands!" the unknown lands is a land beyond the exploration of the demon realm they dont know but the demon tried to expand but ended it after a few months facing an army same his size
Alex nodded and notice a large hole in his chest
"So your gonna die for real this time" Alex asked with a neutral look
"Yes and you need to upgrade my sword it won't last long seeing it break due to that power you have in store"
"All in perfect as it should be" i muttered and looked at the state of my powers and the sword it was a perfect balance to person that has powers that can overload weapons and destroy them
Soon the demon emperor begin to fade and he spoke one last time
"My sword name is Durandal take care of him for me will you"
I nodded and spoke "Sure after i melt it and reforge it to my sword"
Before he could react he turned to dust and his power begin to enter me and some of his knowledge

Yarindus POV
"I never wanted to witness this and yet here i am" i muttere to myself seeing the storms eyes entering Alex body and when i saw Alex regain consciousness he look at me for a second and the ground shook at some city came out of the ground and it was huge

Alex Pov
As soon as the city was raised to the ground i felt lots of prying eyes but after unleashing my power for second they immediately turned away not looking at my direction so i entered the palace and wondered of to the throne room and seeing a black armor infront of the throne itself i just went to it and inspect the structure and seeing it well forged i just pushed it to the side and sat in one of the steps to the throne
And after clearing my thoughts i saw a 8ft tall man with black armor and a crest and the people behind him has the insignia of the number 1 this time i realized how much i f up
"Long Live Emperor!" the man shouted as he knelt in front of him and the others follow also
Alex just sighed and saw yarindus came up to him and spoke
"You know they will come after you and you just threatened them a bit but soon they will form a coalition to take this place right?"
Alex nodded and spoke to the man leading the group
"Rise tell me your name"
The man stood up spoke
"The name is Navern your majesty and i am the commander of the first Imperial Demonic Legion and we have over 1 million men ready to fight and die for you" He bowed with respect
"Alright, is there any existing legion that we can bring back?"
He was silent for a few minutes until he spoke
"Theres still a dozen some are unknown location and some are fighting other demon kings banners and other are fighting in the unknown lands and trying to expand in your new name"
Alex rub his chin for a moment and spoke
"All right gather the available legion and i want a talented minister to manage things for a while and here a budget to fix up the halls and hire the worthy only and wont start up fights." Alex hand over a small dimensional bag filled with 3 large chest of Hellish coins
Soon Alex stood up and gaze at the room filled with warriors who participated
"I want all you to begin building a city outside of this palace that will housed future citizens of the empire."
Soon Alex ended the small meeting and gaze yarindus before speaking
"Draft a letter and send it to him to be on high alert and we will begin."
