A smile curved on her lips, /"need I refresh your memory Margaret? Many years ago, you had tried bribing me with a blank check, that was the time I had nothing, and I didn’t take it. What makes you think I will do so now?/"
/"I’m not bribing you, I am only offering to buy your shares at that amount,/" She took a sip from the coffee in front of her, /"if you believe it is too small, I can always add more, as long as you sign those shares to me./"
/"I don’t want to sign it and I am never taking your money. I can remember that the last time I did, it cost me a dear one, something I’m still going to take my revenge on by the way. So tell me, why will anyone in their right mind take your money, when it was going to cost them something more?/"
/"Are you talking about your mother?/" Margaret smiled, /"oh, she was a good maid, she knew her status unlike her daughter who wanted something higher than her. It was a pity she died so soon./"
