What happened next was a few minutes of total silence between Claire and me.
Claire was probably surprised by the actions that I did. I could not blame her. After all, I, too, was very astonished on the way I acted. However, I did not regret it. Whatever happened, I behaved in a manner that my heart dictated. Thus, on the contrary, I felt refreshed... even thrilled.
However, before I had the chance to think more, a fast attack approached my face. Hurriedly, I ducked. Claire took this chance to get out of my arms.
Before I could even blink, ten punches came towards me. My body acted on its own and started avoiding everything.
Unfortunately, Claire wasn't the fastest wolf for nothing. After the seventh punch, a big blow fell on my face, pushing me half a step backwards.
