PLAN OF ACTION
/"Where are we?/" I questioned, glancing over at Brody, /"Are we still in Devon?/"
I was laid on my front on the bed. Brody was sitting at a desk opposite the bed, scribbling something on a piece of paper. He’s planning our great escape. Since telling me yesterday he was getting me out of here, he’s been working out a way to get out of here.
/"No, we’re in Los Angeles./" He remarked, still writing.
/"California?/" I blurted, /"you took me out of England?/"
He tensed as his head jerked in my direction, /"no, not me. I-/"
I raised my hand, shaking my head, /"I didn’t mean you./"
I huffed, dropping my head onto my arms. I’m miles away from home. No wonder my family hasn’t been able to track me, but knowing this gives me more motivation to actually leave and let them know I’m okay.
